Is Mitchell being fed to the wolves?
I have a sneaky feeling that Kevin Mitchell is going to get sparked on Saturday night. He is one of my favourite fighters to watch as he totally brings it and has good boxing ability too, i just think he east shots he shouldn't way too often. Combine that with Prescotts advantages in Height, Reach and Power and I think he stops Mitchell inside the distance.
What you guys thinkin?
Re: Is Mitchell being fed to the wolves?
Its sink or swim time for Mitchell.
Been around a while now on the Warren undercards but this is a fight that can get him noticed in his own right.
Re: Is Mitchell being fed to the wolves?
How you diing magician?
I think its a good risk imo, Prescott is vastly over rated for his win against Khan and Mitchell has a chance of a world title shot if he wins, I think Mitchell wins this.
Re: Is Mitchell being fed to the wolves?
It's a risk but its time for Mitchell to stop hnad picking fighters like you do in early career. He's 25 and too good for the europeans in a American/asian dominated division. he's earned his spurs in Britain and is a great prospect. Its a title eliminator, so we should no after this if hes ready.

I agree with Skel , i think Mitchell beats the over rated one trick pony.
Re: Is Mitchell being fed to the wolves?
If he gets through the first few rounds he'll win it provided he hasn't been completely bashed up, Prescott has crap stamina. But I have a feeling he won't make it long enough to find out how crap.
Re: Is Mitchell being fed to the wolves?
I hope Mitchell wins but do not think it is a good idea to fight Khan at Light Welter should he win.
Re: Is Mitchell being fed to the wolves?
I'm backing Mitchell to win by KO.
Prsecott's technique is pretty awful, and he leaves himself wide open. Sure they both have shit defence but i think Mitchell can take the bombs, outlast him, and stop him in the mid to late rounds.
Re: Is Mitchell being fed to the wolves?
I was happy to see the majority picking an easy Prescott win when the fight was first made, thought I might get a decent price on Mitchell with the bookies, unfortunately not (slight odds on), and it seems lots more people have warmed to Mitchell's chances.
I think Mitchell can win. But the odds are tempting me towards backing Prescott. Fucks sake

I'm good Skel man, yourself?
I really like Mitchell just as he goes to war. No doubt Prescot is overated, I just think for someone who eats shots too easy like Mitchell, he's fighting the wrong guy in a ko artist, albeit not fantastic opponents, plus Mitchell is a super featherweight, or am i mistaken there? Prescott will have all the physical advantages despite not being technically very good, if Mitchell wants to still eats shots to land I think he's gonna taste canvas...

Don't do it fenster! Stick to your instincts. I've lost too much money changing my mind at the last minute due to attractive odds. Always back what you think will win - because it probably will.

No, you're not wrong, Mitchell was a superfeather.
Your right that Mitchell is wide open and is fighting a banger, and of course that doesn't sound good. BUT - Prescott is also wide open and Mitchell can also bang a bit. Plus from what i've seen Prsecott has stamina issues and is suspect to a decent shot. I think Mitchell MAY be able to absorb Prescott's shots, but i'm not sure Prescott can absorb his for too long. Prsecott will gas and get stopped. At least thats what i THINK.

I hear ya man. But betting is all about the odds. Even if I backed Prescott I would still be cheering for Mitchell.
Just disappointed because I expected bigger odds on Mitchell. Funking bookies on the ball.

Im getting a bit worried after todays weigh in wow Presscott looked fucking huge compared to Mitchell no way Mitchell is 5'8 and Prescott is 5'11, at least a good 6 inch difference in height there.
