Mayweather has friends in low places

According to police reports Floyd Mayweather may have threatened a man and then had one of his thugs in his entourage try to shoot the man to death.

Hmm, so this guy who videotape proves is a friend of Floyd's shoots at a guy Floyd argues with and Floyd denies knowing this friend.

So already he's told one lie, and deserted his loyal 'buddy' who will no doubt go down on his behalf in more ways than one.

It would be great if Sugar Shane can wipe the smirk off of his face if any of this is true.

I never liked the Mayweather (except for Jeff who seems to be a good chap) and their tug-gish life doesn't impress me at all. However, for the sake of boxing, I hope it's not true, we do not need another black eye to the sport. Especially not one like that.

Mayweather is already the skidmark in boxing's undies,,, it can't be much worse for him to be the black eye on it's face...

Seriously though, I believe a story like this has some credibility... I mean, there is value for rappers and such to put on a show for the sake of sales.. pretending your a pistol toten gang banger doing it hard on the streets while your really sitting in your white picket kitchen eating french toast and reading the business section of the paper,,,, but I don't think their is as much value in Mayweather putting up that facade as he thinks... From all appearences, he does have a good and generous side and is probably a decent person to meet at the right time,,,, but for the most part I think he completely buys into his gangsta holla dolla image and someone "dis'n" him ya'll, that'll earn them a cap from one of ma homies ya'll.....

Simply his ego is to big.. Someone disses it and brings his self image down a level, he can be sensible and let it go like an adult, or he can follow the gansta culture that he buys into so much, and earn that respect back dawg, and show that mofo that no one disses money moneyweather.. Ya'll no whut i'm say'n???

I'm a fan of Mayweather's. That being said, if he were involved he should go to prison. But has anyone given at least a thought to the possibility he didn't have anything to do with it? Hey, I'm sure some of the people he hangs with aren't the brightest bulbs and the guy could have been trying a little too hard. He could have taken it upon himself to shoot at the BMW without any prompting from anyone else. Before we call the biggest or 2nd biggest name in boxing a 'skidmark' shouldn't we know a little bit more?

When you look at the Mayweather family it's only going to end badly for Floyd. It doesn't matter how much money he makes boxing, he's only going to blow it. He may be able to stay out of trouble while he's got money but eventually he's going to end up in jail over something. Hopefully he manages to stay out of serious bother until we've seen the best of him in the ring.

He's a boxing genius inside the ring, outside not so much. As someone stated, I think it will end up badly for him once his boxing career is over. And for some reason I think he will be boxing even when he's past his prime because he seems like the type to just spend money like crazy. Another Holyfield, Roy Jones in the making?

This crap is hillarious...floyd is a boxer. Not a boy scout leader or pastor. Who gives a crap if raipes pidgens in his spare time, all that matters is if you can beat him in the ring or not. And since at this point no one can, stories like these float around.......sad.

It matters because if it's true he'll be taking himself out of the ring and in prison, ala Mike Tyson.

Pretty short sited post there Mar. Screwups outside the ring by someone who says " I am boxing, the sport will die when I leave it". (which we all know is bullshit) will directly and immediately affect him. But I'm not sure Floyd is intellegent enough to know that his actions outside the ring will affect his career inside the ring. This isn't the first stupid thing he's done outside the ring. And I can guarantee you that it won't be the last.
