Berto vs. Quintana Fight Talk

Not a bad two fight card this weekend with Caballero vs. Yordan and Berto vs. Quintana.

Quintana I believe it the biggest opponent Berto has faced yet, although Berto is heavily favored Quintana always has the element of possible upset if he can get his timing dialed, this would be especially effective against Berto that relies on handspeed for pretty much every situation. Of course if Quintana's timing is off or if he tries to sit down on that straight left too much Berto's going to look spectacular.

I am going with Berto decision. Quintana doesnt have enough in the tank (probably never did) to take a guy like Berto...If Quintana can box slick and move like he did in first williams fight he can at least make it the whole fight but Berto's flashy combos will get him decision.

I'll say berto knocks him out with one of those damn uppercuts.

I think Berto is good enough to beat Quintana and Quintana is good enough to avoid getting KOd by Berto. And I'm going for Caballero too.

Berto, there are simply too many elements stacked up in his favor.

Berto by UD. But Quintana will make this a competitive fight. Quintana is a good measuring stick. How this fight goes we'll see if Berto has come of age and finalized any last grooming.

It must be said we don't know where Berto's mind is at, he's just been through a terrible tragedy.

Quintana for me. Although i'm usually terrible at picking fights.

Berto by shocking KO. He's going to do to Quintana what he did to that Mexican guy who wanted to be in Hollywood. Except Quintana doesn't have his chin.

Berto by decision. His fights have been measured lately and Quintana's style won't allow Berto much opportunity to sit down on most punches. Quintana is pretty slick but I say Berto by decision.
