Let's see how Solis compares to Haye.
Might be a bit soon for Solis who doesn't seem to have learned how to control his calorie intake yet. Valuev isn't the best, but that size is probably difficult to get round if you are a big fat porker. If Solis gets in shape then I think he can win. If not then it might be one of those lopsided Valuez decisions.
One of them where the judges call it 120-108 Valuev even though the other man won all 12 rounds??? I really don't know about this one. Like you say Solis doesn't look like he is on the right diet by a long way really. He has been fighting at a good 35lbs above what his body would look healthy at and against someone the size of Valuev you need to stay mobile to stop him leaning on you.Quote:

It won't, Valuev's dismal output will. For all the lack of dedication to the diet, Solis is still very smart in the ring, his punch selection, counter timing and combos are all at the elite level.Quote:

Haye and chagaev had to be on their toes for 12 rounds, I havent seen solis moving that well for a good while now

He'll dominate Valuev, certainly win a better fight than Haye did. Haye hits harder but he doesn't have the physical presence of Solis. I expect Solis to land at will and batter the living shit out of Valuev, first stoppage of his career comes, or if not an easy dominant win for Odlanier on the cards.
Solis by wide decision
I would love for this fight to happen but Valuev will probably sit out and wait for the Haye rematch. Plus WBC #1 Ray Austin has threatened to sue if the fight goes ahead.

Gah how cool would that be if Ray Austin caused the WBC to dissolve.
Let Ray Austin sue the WBC lol after Solis beats Valuev he can stop Ray using just his right hand :P
And shouldn't he be protesting the Sosnowski fight? Vitali is the WBC champ so.... shouldnt Austin be clamoring for a fight with him and trying to face the winner of Valuev or Solis?
If this fight comes off Solis batters Valuev!!! Maybe not to a stoppage but he'll give him a beat down!!!
