On Monday morning, Berto wrote the following on Twitter: “R.I.P to Edwin Valero after killing his wife yesterday he just killed himself in jail today. WOW women are a [expletive] boy RIP E.V.”

didn't really care for the guy to begin with, now i hope he does get a fight against one of the top guys at welterweight and basically ends up ruined, fucking asshole

I'd like to be enraged by this but Valero wasn't even on my radar. I have nothing invested in him and so I struggle to rustle up a feeling good or bad about any of this.

I think we should send Daxx out to "interview" him.

i don't give a fuck about Valero, the thing that piss me off are Berto's comments towards Valero's murdered wife, and his insinuation that she's the cause of the entire tragedy

So Valero and the mother of two are still dead.The children were robbed of innocence and will suffer.And Berto is a overhyped flawed fighter who put one of his two left feet in his mouth?Got it.

Anyway...

Nothing emotional. I understand that murdering a woman is criminal and that it has a negative impact on the lives of others, but in this case I am just too far removed from ground zero.

For me the headline reads: Man Kills Wife; Hangs Self.

I'm not claiming normalcy. I'm just talking about it from my roped-off section of the world.

Well I already had my big rant about comments like this.....I am not sure if he meant it in a way where he was blaming her or saying anything bad about women...IMO it more or less sounded like a comment of shock if you will towards how far some will go in the instance of love (If you want to call it that)....I mean just last year Gatti had something similar and committed suicide :rolleyes:...So they say due to issues with a woman.

Though I don't know what is going through or was going through his mind at the time but I would HOPE it was nothing more then that.

He just does not seem like a guy who malicious like that...But then again I never expected to read some of the shit I had on these forums either on the topic. :-\

I just read somewhere that his wife was 20 years old, and they have/had children who are aged six and eight.... Surely the ages are off, or the elder child was from another woman? Do they not have an age of consent in Venezuela:confused::confused:

I seen 20 in one report too, but i've seen lots of others where it said she was 24 i believe.

It could have been a lot worse in cases like these of domestic violence sometimes the man kills the children. A sick f*** in the UK did that to his two children to get back at his wife.
