I don't see Floyd-Pac being competitive after that performance
I just don't see it, like what Manny Steward says, Floyd is bigger and more skilled and would be too much for Manny. He roughed up arguably the most physical 147 pounder in the ring tonight who has speed, power, and who was the #1 welter.
For the people clamoring for a Pac-Floyd fight, you're going to be disappointed just like tonight.
Re: I don't see Floyd-Pac being competitive after that performance
I disagree if Floyd is fighting guys who fight at his place he's pretty much unbeatable. Pacquiao is a whirlwind though, punches are coming from all angles. Lunging in and out in and out. Ever after Pacquiao Clottey I've thought Pacquiao would win a decision over Floyd.

You'd have to watch it in Slow Motion it'd be that fast a fight!
No way it's a boring fight NO WAY!!
They'd go at it like coked up Porn stars on Viagra ;D
Floyd knows he has to be the aggressor which is exactly what he did tonight and he looked utter quality in their!

Floyd will counter Pac all night. It will be JMM vs Pac but 10x worse. Floyd might get knocked down early but, Floyd owns him
Re: I don't see Floyd-Pac being competitive after that performance
pac fights with more tenacity than shane, how many times did we saw shane just standing infront of pbf doing nothing?
pbf got rocked in the second cause shane pushed for it but fell short and wasnt able to finish.
pac will do the same but has the gas and firepower to do it the whole night.
the question here is can pbf handle pacs non stop workrate if he does then pac is toast!
pac em1 is a good example, pac knew he is being outboxed but he just stayed there and threw punches. thats the major difference with shane, after the 2nd round pbf put some distance between them then used his superior speed to out punch shane. shane stopped throwing punches cause he was getting countered, pac wont stop throwing punches.
Re: I don't see Floyd-Pac being competitive after that performance
Before Pacquiao fought Clottey (1st right hand dominant guy since Marquez). Since Cotto, Hatton and De La Hoya were all left hand dominant I thought Mayweather could counter Pac and win. Pacquiao just throws so many punches. I mean he'll obviously be countered at times but even Cotto countered him and Manny just kept throwing.

Let's not forget no one likes to fight speedy southpaws
Re: I don't see Floyd-Pac being competitive after that performance
Pacquiao thru 400 or so more punches against Clottey than both Mayweather and Mosley did together. There was often 15 and 20 seconds that when by with only a faint or two. Mayweather didn't run in this one. If Mosley had less respect for Mayweather and let his hand go by just 3 or four more punches it could have been more competitive. It was like the guy had his hands tied I couldn't believe it.

It wouldnt have been more competitive if Mosley let his hands go. Shane would have been stopped if he did that. Shane didnt throw cause when he did he was getting rocked

A 40 year-old 147 pounder, who gave up -- from what I'm reading on this forum -- by the mid-rounds.
Took Mayweather more than two rounds to KO Hatton. Didn't he have to go almost 9 or 10 rounds with Hatton? Pacquiao almost done it in one and ended his career in the 2nd.
Re: I don't see Floyd-Pac being competitive after that performance
Shane didn't throw because he was gassed. If Pacquiao had hurt Mayweather in the second he would've been all over him. Shane looked happy to be there at points in the fight.
Re: I don't see Floyd-Pac being competitive after that performance
Floyds timing would be way too much for pac and he WOULD DEFINITLEY KO PAC. Remember that I professed this everyone. And for all those who want to attack me for saying this be careful because I WILL remember lol

B.T.W. - Steward has dementia.
Re: I don't see Floyd-Pac being competitive after that performance
in the third round pbf put some distance and threw fast punches . shane shouldve done what he just did on the first two rounds.
but shane gassed out from round 2 and was recovering on the third. pbf and his corner where smart and attacked on the third.

I agree with you...frankly i am surprised at all the hate Mayweather is receiving after a brilliant performance.
