Most of what us englishmen have designed in the kitchen over the years have been tame to say that least, roast dinners and all that crap. Hence while most of our dishes are from other countrys, indian food, chinese food, kebabs etc etc.
But the full english breakfast is just the daddy of all foods isnt it..
2 sausage
2 egg
2 bacon
tomatos
mushrooms
black pudding
grilled tomato
fried toast
cup of tea
Amen to that!

Also love a bit of hash brown with my fry up.

Add beans and I could accept the tea though I do not normally drink caffeine in the morning and if I eat an English Brekkie in the morning, you can be sure that lunchtime will be light.Quote:

9am - full english breakfast
12.30pm - milkshake, pack of sensations
4pm - sausage sandwich
8pm - meal in weatherspoons washed down with plenty of booze ;D;D;D
You can't go wrong with an English breakfast, though being the picky bugger that I am you would have to take out a few of the veggies. You can keep the tomatoes in though as they are alright. But can I have some toast instead of the fried bread? Like I said in the other thread I am 30 and I need to go easy on that kind of thing!

Beans for breakfast just seems odd.
I must admit that one of the things I am most looking forward to this summer is eating a decent breakfast everyday when I come home.
My current breakfast consists of an apple, some watermelon, 100 grammes of mountain berries and a glass of juice. It's just not very fun to eat that everyday. No doubt it's pretty good for me, but a man does hanker for something a bit more substantial every now and then.
A good old fashioned English breakfast certainly prepares you for the day ahead, but does likely take a day off of your life every time you eat it! You can't deny that the greasy stuff tastes mighty good though.
You needs eggs cooked at least two different ways and a kipper. Otherwise not bad.
