I understand, but it's a good chance to learn :)
Re: Killersheep's Soccer Prediction Game
I know everything there is to know about football and I still cannot predict anything. I am worse than useless.
Re: Killersheep's Soccer Prediction Game
man utd
draw
draw
Backing the draw, the final two are pretty even games so I'm hoping at least one ends up in a draw :p
I know very little about MLS.
Football is an unpredictable game.
I did pretty well on I Know The Score today, up to 7328/211102. Got +120 today inc. two perfect scores.

Re: Killersheep's Soccer Prediction Game
Was wondering if the scoring system is ideal, as draws are generally harder to predict and less common, 1 point for them seems very little compared to for example predicting Man Utd to beat Stoke, an easy 3 points (at least on paper), but backing a shock result should be rewarded with more.
Makes things more interesting in my opinion anyway and encourages people to be riskier with their predictions, just a suggestion.

Well okay, I wasn't clear on the choices I guess, you just pick a team and your score correlates to the result. So yes Man U should be a lock, however everyone has the same opportunity to pick it, and IF you picked Stoke City AND they won, you would be up three points plus differential on pretty much everyone else in the game.
For now just pick a team in each game (no draws, if your team draws you will just get a point)
We will adjust the rules, scoring and fixture options as this inaugural season goes along.
This will be the starting point and then we can adjust everything later, and visit handicapping etc. I just want to keep it as simple as possible while I get my scoring spreadsheets set up.
