re: Marciano's KO of Walcott
That little, quick double shuffle Marciano does to set distance was pretty wasn't it? The Rock didn't often do things technically well. But those times he did? The results were always explosive.
Anamazingly powerful man to weigh only 185 pounds.

I've always like this quote by Mark Twain:
"It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog."
It's also the reason why a pit bull can destroy a much bigger dog, despite his smaller size, he's solid muscle, powerful & built to fight, he's also totally fearless & confident, and will fight to the death.

Pretty fair description of Marciano right there.

Walcott was a very cagey, tough fighter.
The split nose thing happened in his 2nd fight with Ezzard Charles, he came back to KO Charles in the 8th round.

That was the second Ezzard Charles fight. Al Berl gave him one more round. 90 seconds later Charles was counted out.

This is such a distorted view. Marciano wrecked the division and I defy anyone to find a fight where Walcott was better than he was in the first fight with the Rock. Moore was 175 champ for another seven years after Rocky stopped him.
What's with the gay silliness by the way? You think that adds something here?
re: Marciano's KO of Walcott
Walcott only weighed 12 pounds heavier than rock did in the first fight and 13 pounds heavier in the second fight. 1 inch height advantage and 7 inch wingspan advantage. Vlad gets a hell of a lot more advantage than that in most of his fights.

So what's your point?
Re: Marciano's KO of Walcott
That was a brutal KO for sure but Rocky did not have to hit him again, this is not MMA. Rocky was a dirty fighter.

How often is the guy draped over the ropes and unconscious? No real way for Rock to see that.
And yes, Rock was a dirty fighter.

Everyone could see Jersey was not getting up and Rocky still gave him a left hook for good measure.
His beating of Don Cockell was dirty and brutal.
