That was good but scraping the barrel with mentioning the ODH scandal, Mayweather feud.
my thoughts exactly and given Mayweather's comments about the DLH scandal, he's really not in position to talk about it
"Oscar De la Hoya is trying to stay relevant by admitting to his vices and Victor said he look at that man like "GOD".
De La Hoya is a drug user, dresses like a drag, committed adultery and drinks alcohol and Ortiz looks up to this guy."
yet he thinks he should be looked up to as a role model? a guy whose family has a history of beating women, show no respect within their own family, a guy who flaunts his money every chance he can when many hard working people are having trouble putting food on the table also found his other little gem quite amusing saying that DLH is trying to stay relevant yet he's the one who hasn't fought in over a year and yet has been all over youtube streaming hate vids against Manny, Twitter again flaunting $ trying to fight off claims that he's broke, and on TMZ with his retarded baby mama drama and all the other bullshit he gets himself into, at least we've never heard of Oscar or Ortiz being mixed up in an attempted murder or shootings, Mayweather can't say the same
I'm hating DLH more and more. DLH telling Ortiz he was done when he fought Mayweather. So why the :-X did he fight Floyd? And if he was done when he fought Floyd, he was burnt when he fought Manny. We all know Floyd fighting strictly for the cash AKA Money Mayweather. At least he tell everyone up front. DLH, knows he has no chance of winning but taking all our our money.
Smart @$$ business man
Dumb @$$ comment
was it not the truth? look at all of his fights after Mayorga, he still made Mayweather work more and pushed him more than anyone aside from Castillo has been able to, but it doesn't change the fact that DLH was past his prime against Mayweather and even more so against Pacquiao, cause in that fight he was shot AND weight drained
and even if Oscar was just doing it for the money, at least throughout his career he always put up a fight, he made fights exciting IN THE RING and took on ALL COMERS, at least 95% of his fights that were on PPV were great, name one Mayweather fight that was ever as thrilling as DLH Vs Quartey
Ortiz is far too boring for this type of thing. No disrespect to him either. He's too young to have a story to tell and too inoffensive (we got the tough upbringing bit in the first week).
When Oscar himself has to resort to slating himself and his business partners (Hatton and Marquez "little guys," Shane and himself "done") to ramp up something mildly controversial you know it's not looking good.
IM hating Floyd more and more. Ive always had mixed feelings about this dude despite his godly boxing talent but this 24/7 done did it for me. I dont care what kind of struggles he went through as a kid.. It's some exaggerated shit anyways and many people has been through alot worse.. HE treats his dad like a POS and burns hundred dollar bills in public.. Those two actions alone show a whole lot about his character..
Fuck this scumbag Floyd mayweather.. It's guys like him who gives Black people a bad name.. Just look at him as fits perfectly into that black sterotype.. A loud mouth punk, no respect for people nor his own father, doesn't respect the law, has no morals or class, brags about how much money he has.. etc etc etc It's as if he's trying to live the life of a rap star.. Karma will catch up to this scumbag.
Yawnnnnnn.... Too much dad hatin'. It's getting boring.
I hope they'd show more sparring next time.
You won't see Floyd sparring in any of these 24/7's, at most some of Roger slapping his gloves with those pads and some neck, arm and jaw exercises.
It's a reality show, no substance to any of it.
But I think Floyd will destroy this kid, Ortiz, young strong and hungry, he'll still be all three after the fight.
It actually has made up my mind that I will not pay for it. The taunt that Floyd was singing about "people paying to watch him get beat and you cannot get your money back" just shows what a dick he is.
No. He is saying with HINDSIGHT that he was done.
Often fighters don't know they're done until they are able to look back. How many times have we seen a burnt out fighter refusing to give it up because they can't tell that they're passed it?
How could you not get this?
ODH was talking crap to give Ortiz confidence, byt even Ortiz did not beleive him.
I plan on watching this tonight, but I read that during the episode they showed Floyd laying on his back in the ring in a black full length body suit with significant built in body
protection around his left rib cage, and only around his left rib cage. I think it was hurt during the Marquez fight. Did anyone see this?
