If PAC and PBF traded shots who would win?
No blocking, evading, dodging. Just sheer toe to toe slugfest trading shots after shots who would win?
Re: If PAC and PBF traded shots who would win?
I believe PAC would stop him.
Re: If PAC and PBF traded shots who would win?
In a straight up brawling, Floyd would get severely hurt by Pacman.. He dont even get down like that though..
Re: If PAC and PBF traded shots who would win?
No offence to thread starter but this thread is stupid.
Pacquiao obviously has the advantage in a brawling fight.
Making a thread on it is pointless when you already really know the answer.

Because knocking someone out when they are not looking and have their hands down means you have knock out power? ... I agree this Thread is dumb, everyone here knows Pacquiao will spark Floyd in a toe to toe battle. Floyd was hurt by Mosley so we know Pacquiao can get him out. Plus just look at the last 10 seconds of De la Hoya vs Mayweather.. Floyd was in control but when he went toe to toe those last 10 secs he got owned by Oscar.

I don't think it was a stupid question. I actually think toe to toe Floyd will knock Manny out. He's the bigger man and has the better defence.
Also what does Floyd getting hit against Mosley have to do with anything? Torrecampo and Singsarat both knocked Manny out...

Floyd going toe to toe with Pacquiao would take his defence sorta out of the equation.
I mean if Floyd's being aggressive and throwing, he's not defending which gives Pacquiao openings and Pacquiao always takes advantage of fighters who are aggressive.
Pacquiao's power is far more likely to hurt Floyd than the other way round also.
An aggressive Floyd works in favor of Pacquiao imo.
Floyd's best bet against Pacquiao is to box him. Pacquiao has always had difficulty with counter punchers and Mayweather is the best in the sport at it.
Re: If PAC and PBF traded shots who would win?
I think Floyd would knock Manny out in a toe to toe battle. At this point in their career's Floyds taken less damage so he could probably take more damage than Manny could who has taken alot of shots. Than theres also the fact that he is bigger and I suspect he has more power in his shots than Manny does. And lastly theres the fact that hes taller so he would have more leverage and Manny would lose power throwing upwards.
Re: If PAC and PBF traded shots who would win?
Ninja-like check-hooks and almost pre-emptive, PAC-3 like, straight-rights.

Wow... Well you know Mosley happened last year, we can safely infer that Floyd is the same fighter as oppose to Manny being stopped in 96 and I believe 98 or 99 ... I mean I'm sure you would agree that that's def not the same Manny Pacquiao not even half the fighter he is now. But I'm not a Pacquiao fanboy, I actually would pick Floyd to win in a boxing match but to think Mayweather would slug and KO pac is quite funny. As far as Floyd being the bigger man, Pacquiao fought margarito and took his best shots so I doubt Floyds size would matter.

You don't think that had Mosley caught Manny flush he wouldn't be capable of rocking him too?
Floyd has never been seriously hurt in his entire career. His chin looks pretty solid to me, and he's well capable of standing in the pocket and trading with Manny.
Manny is a very small welterweight and will rely on his speed and angles to get in and out whilst not taking any big shots himself.
Having watched almost all of both fighter's careers I would definitely give Floyd an edge in power and chin at 147, although Manny has the edge in speed and ferocity.
I am rooting for Manny, but if that fight happens I expect Floyd to win.
Re: If PAC and PBF traded shots who would win?
It makes me cringe how sycophantic some of these fighters fans are:-X
There is no weighing up all possibilities, just just flat out bullshit. They are more fans of the fighter than of boxing and have blinkers on big time!
No way Mannys chin is better than Floyds! Marquez hurt Manny but came nowhere near putting a dent in Mayweather. Mosley is a bigger puncher than Manny, he stopped Margarito and Floyd came back to win the round he got caught by him in. As for saying, no blocking or dodging!? That is what it would take for Floyd to take a clean shot, litterally just standing still!;D
Even in a brawl, Floyd is too sharp and accurate

well in reality i dont see pac outboxing him. so a mere chance or scenario of pac beating him like the stupid case i brought up gives hope to me.
