Re: Are you an angry driver?
People who don't indicate are the worst. At least let your fellow drivers know what your intentions are. And people who don't let you out when you are politely indicating.
I've started just putting my window down, putting my head out and raising my hand and the sight of a white face is usually enough to make people remember their manners a little and let me in.
I have also learnt a lesson too. Never drive around Seoul. It is a serious headfuck.
Re: Are you an angry driver?
Nope, not an angry driver.
When you learn to drive in a country where every one carries a gun, you learn to remain calm.
Re: Are you an angry driver?
Do you mean using your blinker?
Re: Are you an angry driver?
I've been known to pop off once in awhile. More so to slow fuckers in the left lane, people who make right hand turns into life long endevors and kooks driving in the rain like the car was rigged with explosives and using the hazard lights. Driving is a form of art with the auto a brush and the highway my canvas. Not angry but a critical driver, yes.
Re: Are you an angry driver?
I dislike traffic greatly. I live in a very rural place and would not move for anything.
I get angry whenever I have to stop for any reason. I also get angry whenever people ride my bumper but refuse to pass whenever they could clearly do so.

I rarely speed. I allow myself enough time to get places. I often am pulling a trailer as well.
Re: Are you an angry driver?
Oh yeah, I yell and flip people off all the time. I live in bumfuck, and I used to be a laid back driver, until the job I had before my current job, I used to have to drive to the outskirts of downtown Cleveland, and it is nothing but maniac assholes that drive the interstates heading that way. So in order to survive with the assholes, you had to learn to drive like an asshole, and unfortunately it stuck. Luckily now, my drive to work is only 20 minutes, and all back roads, but if I get stuck behind someone driving 10 miles under the speed limit, you bet I'm driving on their ass yelling at them. Not proud of it by any means, but I've just become such an impatient driver, and have absolutely no tolerance for slow drivers, or fuckers who pull right out in front of you when they see you coming fast.
But I'm nothing compared to Legion. OMG, if I'm on the phone with him while he is driving, I am usually lmao listening to him scream at other drivers. The lines that he comes up with are priceless.

I try and balance out frustration with cynical humor. Its easier on your stress levels.

Yes, it isn't good to be getting too stressed and I do get stressed. I was thinking to myself yesterday 'what am I doing in this country with these lunatics?'. However, I realised that people are pretty stupid the world over so if it was any alternative it would just be different coloured people who speak my language.
80% of all people are somewhat retarded and it is something I am just going to have to accept.
Great story BTW, BigH. If drivers are going to be dicks I just want them to apologise and show respect. There was one instance yesterday where I went into the wrong lane (Seoul is a mess), I tried to get back out and raised my arm as an apology to the person behind who had to take the time to let me back in. If everyone just paid each other a little respect the roads would be just fine. I don't mind someone making the odd mistake, but show consideration to your fellow drivers. People are such selfish pricks and to a degree my socialist values are only ever going to be wasted on animals like this.
Re: Are you an angry driver?
One thing I hate more than anything is letting someone in and they just don't acknowledge.
Beep, mouth thankyou for them. beep beep beeep as we shuffle along they deserve this lesson. ;D

Totally, just rudeness to not acknowledge a generous act of kindness. Also bus drivers are mental. They don't look and throw their vehicles around like toys. A history of mental illness is a prerequisite of becoming a bus driver.
Re: Are you an angry driver?
Not at all. Even when I almost get killed by dumb drivers ambitions/moves, I remain as zen as it can be, perhaps a little burst but that's it and if I start to feel some anger for some reasons, I simply kick on some classical music and I am back to Mr Buddha style with a smile.
