Re: 24/7 Cotto VS Margarito
i saw it, they both actually look very focused to me, one is trying to prove the first fight was a fluke, and the other one trying to prove that it wasnt, i am actually really excited for this fight, it has bad blood between two very good fighters, but i say cotto comes out on top in this one
Re: 24/7 Cotto VS Margarito
SO I was rewatching the episode this morning, did anyone else notice that the "crack" in Margarito's gloves was actually a piece of thread or string??
Re: 24/7 Cotto VS Margarito
As far as what I thought? Several things.
I LOVED that Miguel finally came out and said that he knows that Margacheato used illegal wraps in their fight, and that he called him a criminal, because that is what he is.
I'll admit it, I got teary eyed when Miguel and his mom where talking about his dad.
I love his tat of his dad on his back, and him knowing that his dad will always have his back.
Now for the cheater and his team......
Two major lies were told in the show.
First, Margacheato stating that after the wraps scandal came out, that he cut all ties with Capetillo. LIAR!!!!! Is that why you were seen on TV with Capetillo in at least 2 Giovanni Segura fights that I can recall after the illegal wraps scandal? He was seen with them in the locker room, and standing in the ring with him, all smiles.
Then Capetillo.... In 24/7, he states that he arrived late, and used pads that were sitting on a table. LIAR!!!!! In your official statement at the California hearing, and in the interview you did with Doug Fischer of Ring Magazine, you stated that you grabbed the wrong pad out of your bag. This is what he stated in the interview.
"Maybe I was feeling the pressure of the fight and not paying attention to what I was doing when I reached into my bag and grabbed the training gauze, but I didn't do it on purpose."
So which was it, on the table or in the bag? And if it was sitting on the table, who prepared that pad?
And is Margacheato blind now from his eye injury? Pretending he doesn't see a tear in the wraps from the fight with Cotto. Says it could be a fucking booger? Give me a break. And why can't him or Capetillo explain why there is red dye on the pad from the Mosley fight, when a glove was never put on his hands. And why is it red in the exact same spot as where it was for the Cotto fight?
His camp also stated that there was someone from Cotto's camp in the locker room while Margacheato's hands were being wrapped, but if that is so, why aren't they saying exactly who was in there? They don't give a name.
Then the cheater is questioning Miguel's heart. Well in this episode it's obvious that Miguel is all heart, and that Margacheato doesn't have one.

Ya I kept looking at that but later in that show they had live footage of the first fight and you can see that is not a tear on his handwrap its like a piece of string or something. I know that doesnt mean anything but that has always been the suspicion for me. The picture looking like the handwraps were cracked when they were not cracked it was something on the wraps which like I said looks like a piece of string.
Maragarito is acting like a douche and he doesnt do himself any favors, but I do have to admit that I want him to win, cant help it.

Felt really sorry for Cottos mum losing her soul mate... lifes shit sometimes :(
Hoping Cotto doesn't just win but also punishes him bigtime in the process.

Re: 24/7 Cotto VS Margarito
COM'ON COTTO!!!
I hope cotto punishes the prick. Breaks that same bone pac did and ends his career the way margarito could have done to him.
Re: 24/7 Cotto VS Margarito
Wow this was the best 24/7 to date. It's even better because of the real bad blood coming from Cotto. This drama is intense!
Ive seen a side of Cotto that ive never seen before. The guy actually showed emotions talking about his father. That part got me choked up.
His english speaking ability impressed me as well.. I never knew he was that well spoken. Must be a fast learner or he just never chose to speak it in the past.. But the guy is a whole lot brighter than some thick headed Pacquiao who can't speak without stuttering even after living in cali for years.. UH uh i fight for the peoplerrr uh uh i make peoplerr happy.. rubbish...
I can't wait for the next episode..

Cotto started learning english early on in his pro career saying that he didn't want to be like Trinidad and have to rely on translators who often misinterpret or translate things out of context, he supposedly learned with Rosetta Stone
