seeing how moments after the altercation Evangelista Cotto went to Miguel's residence and threw a cinder block into Miguel's car and house window, wouldn't really say the guy was defenseless

Burns did the right thing I'm sure he coulda took the punks, but in the system we all live in today he probably would have earned himself jail time for defending himself, and then the fuckers woulda sued him for "damages". Good on burns
Not to mention fighting bare fisted is gonna lead to him having broken hands. Damn straight Burns did the right thing, why should he jeopardise future fights and his freedom because of some little shits??

Typical Britain, you can't even go for a walk without a pack of hounds harassing and stalking you. I don't understand why these youths hang out on street corners. a) It's cold and b) It's bloody boring. Why don't they play with their Playstations or play football?
There's an entire breed of these creatures swarming all over the place and they should really be put down like stray dogs.

He did right, he's a pro fighter no need to get involved in anything outside the ring. Even if it was self defence he would get done for using weapons or what ever the law is now.

But this whole, "If you're a boxer, your fists are considered a deadly weapon" law stinks to me. Surely I don't have to be a boxer to know how to throw a good punch? Or if I defend myself and happen to be a boxer it's illegal? Or if I love boxing training and happened to get good but have NEVER wanted to compete (Would I be considered a "boxer"?). I get it, if someone picks a fight knowing the damage they can do as a boxer then yeah...but surely it's such a grey area that no case can be cut and dry??
Gandalf, agree it's getting crazy over here - Been in Thailand for 3 months and don't fancy coming back hearing the shitty news that comes through. Although going indoors and playing Playstation isn't the answer..in fact, that's probably led to these socially devoid fools' behaviour in the first place. They don't know how to act or talk to people.
We used to play out all the time as kids but the absolute worst we'd do is maybe throw a water bomb at passing cars..that was as sinister as it got. My mum and dad woulda beat my arse if I got into any mischief..Now it's crazy. I just think some should consider very carefully whether they are fit to breed and bring up kids.. (Althugz for prime minister bitches!)
