The 2012 Olympics? "Bah, humbug!
I believe Britain did a marvelous job hosting and putting together the venue for the 2012 Olympic in London, congrats to the organizers, i'm sure it wasn't easy. (I loved hearing McCartney singing "Hey Jude" at the opening ceremonies)
Having said that, I can say that without a doubt I've had almost no interest in watching the 2012 Olympics and I didn't watch much of the prior two Olympics either. To be honest, I couldn't give a fuck less how many metals the U.S. wins, or watching all the "nationalistic" flag waving, commercialism and political shit that gets shoved in your face.
Does anyone feel the way I do?

I think it's been fantastic. I've loved the olympics since I was a kid but never realised how great being the actual host was (I live in London).
Never seen so many coppers on the streets either. :o

Good to see our GB team doing well.
I have enjoyed the cycling and athletics and the swimming. I haven't seen any boxing! jut keep missing it but from what I keep hearing it's been shit so not really bothered.
Not particularly bothered about the Olympics but I do enjoy seeing the competitiveness between the athletes and you can see the nerves and the tension. That excites me. Good to see GB do well but I am just happy to see some hard fought events.
Horse events = boring
archery = glorified darts
most team sports = no buzz for me and GB footballers? fuck off!

Olympics has been great, especiially in August when there is sweet FA to do. I think it has stopped the riots this year. :)
