Fight night on NBC. Rosado vs Whitaker

No ESPN but we have a network card featuring Gabriel Rosado 20-5 (12) and Charles Whitaker 38-12-2 (23) in a title eliminator. Rosado has bounced back with Kos over Soto Karass and Sechew Powell since being destroyed by Alfred Angulo and Whitaker is on a winning streak after early career losses. I think hes def live here.

Ronald Cruz 17-0 (12) takes on hard nose Antwon Smith 21-4-1 (12) in co feature. Unfortunately Gabriel Campillo was set to be on in comeback but pulled out.

Nothing glamorous but its action and action is good! Showtime also has a card kicking off at 10pm.

Hopefully we have some good fights.

I guess Freddie would know about fighters having trouble making weight. ;D

Smith apparently couldn't wouldn't make weight and comes in unofficially about 155 ish...thought Smith powned Cruz in 1st round. Much busier

I've got 3-0 Smith...Flores and New Guy had Cruz taking 3rd and not sure what they are watching. Cruz is sleepwalking a bit and really needs to get punches off!

B.J. Flores sucks as a commentator, and sometime it's hard to understand what Freddie is saying. :-\

Ask and you shall recieve...Cruz opens up to body well in 4th, showing effect and needed pressure

Well thankfully Cruz is starting to step things up a bit.

Btw, love the new avatar. Stephen was my favorite character in Braveheart.

Smith sharpshooting to begin 9th and shook Cruz with crisp hook, solid momentum shifts in this one. Smith is so much more accurate but waits, Cruz getting really loopy but pressing. Round Smith

5-4 Smith into 10th for me.

Have tyo go Smith 10th. Just have to. He stood and slugged when he wanted, and he boxed out when he wanted. Cruz got sloppy in last two. Coin flip? I think Smith won
