Re: Marco Huck vs. Firat Arslan - Saturday - Nov. 3rd
Can't really get excited about the Huck fight. Interesting to see how Bute does though. I'm guessing he'll just box the guy all night and use it like a dry run for the Froch rematch. Sky are showing this in Britain but on a tape delay at 8am our time. Probably will watch it live depending on what I get up to on Saturday night.

Neither one of these fights are all that interesting, but I guess it's better than a kick in the arse. :o
It's mainly something us hardcore boxing fans can check out, if we have nothing better to do.

Could be BBB, Huck/Arslan is an afternoon fight here in the States, and Bute/Grachev comes on later in the Evening, there's no reason not to watch both. I'm thinking Bute might get his ass kicked @Lt.HW, by the bigger Grachev, so we shall see.

Yup, and Wlady vs. Mariusz Wach, 12 rounds, for Klitschko's IBF/WBO/WBA heavyweight titles and Robert Helenius vs. Sherman Williams, 12 rounds, heavyweights.
Busy day of boxing Nov. 9th. :)

Potential Klitschko fight overshadows Huck-Arslan
The cruiserweight title Fight between current WBO champion Marco Huck and challenger Firat Arslan in Halle/Westphalia, Germany, is just days away, but it’s the name of WBA/IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko that is currently the main topic of conversation.
“Bernd Boente, Klitschko’s manager, has been talking to Marco directly about the possibility of fighting Klitschko. Now we have used the official channels to approach them with an offer,” said promoter Kalle Sauerland, who claims the Klitschko camp turned down a $5 million offer within 20 minutes. “Of course, we are now excepting them to come up with a counter offer. We are always willing to hold personal talks to discuss the terms for such a fight. Then we will see if they will actually put their money where their mouth is. We definitely want to make this fight happen.”
Huck, meanwhile, is doing his best David Haye impression, trying to provoke Wladimir into the ring with insults, referring to Wlad as his “girlfriend” and saying “Vitali is a man who fought real fights, while Wladimir lost pitifully and never asked for a rematch.”

I don't really give Huck much of a chance against Wlad, but could be an interesting fight...you can bet that Huck will be way more aggressive than Haye was...
Re: Marco Huck vs. Firat Arslan - Saturday - Nov. 3rd
Huck is tough but fighting Wlad would be insane especially as he lost his last heavyweight fight.

Huck would need to close the distance like nearly every boxer who fought Wlad and Wlad is pretty good at keeping the distance and if not Huck will be hugged to death...Anyway the Huck Povetkin fight should have been a draw Huck had Povetkin nearly out of the fight two or three times...

I thought Huck actually won the fight, Povetkin looked like shit, against a fucking crusierweight.
Wlad however, would make short work of Huck, who's just too small to cause Wlad any problems.
Re: Marco Huck vs. Firat Arslan - Saturday - Nov. 3rd
I read the winner of this has to fight Ola Afolabi, I hope Huck gets through this and Ola fights Huck again. Their last fight was amazing, cant wait for the trilogy if it comes through.
