Carl Froch - Yusaf Mack - fight chat, sky sports.
So the cobra is back in action against Yusaf Mack, Im happy that Froch is getting back in the ring and lets see him put in another top performance against Mack. Although there is a lot of talk about all of the rematch's I am still confident Froch will get some good rounds in against Mack.
Here is the final press conference video for the fight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZN3jKnfa_Rw
Ill post any news in this thread in the build up to the fight. I am looking forward to this weekend and seeing Tony Bellew back in the ring too.

I'm not interested in this fight really. 35 and fighting Mack? It's a filler fight and Froch will win easily. A year of filler with this and the Bute rematch.
Froch will be chasing his biggest dreams as a very old man. He is wasting time.
Re: Carl Froch - Yusaf Mack - fight chat, sky sports.
i dont think this fight is as onesided as it sounds
if froch has one weakness its he can be outboxed and mack definately seems capable of landing more scoring shots than froch
mack has been infront in all the fights he has lost
you never know, if he can stay on his feet it could be interesting

Come on.
It is a home tide over until Bute. Nothing more, nothing less.
16-1 on is rather one sided in terms of odds and making any money.

33-1 on with some firms. That's a heavier favourite than Wlad vs Wach.

That makes me sound like a serious moderate. I should never never sound like a moderate, but in truth I always am and it is others with the issues. As ever, I am right. So stop being boring Brits trying to make a fight out of absolutely bugger all. It is simply not a very good fight.
Re: Carl Froch - Yusaf Mack - fight chat, sky sports.
In everyone of Mack's losses...he starts off well but eventually fades after a few rounds. I sense an early round blowout. Keep in mind Mack hasn't made 168 in 5 years, so there's a possibility he'll be weight drained.

In a very odd turn of events, considering his strong pro-British stance, my opinion has come to be in line with @erics44 a number of times recently.
He's correct on multiple points: Mack has been ahead in all the fights he lost. He's also correct that Mack can box a bit and Froch has had some weakness against boxers, although he looked spectacular against Bute. However, he is a favorite here for a reason. Mack was chosen for a reason. Froch can punch. Mack has been knocked out. Do the math. The most likely outcome is Froch bombs on Mack late for a KO.
Mack isn't as tough an opponent as Grachev was for Bute, but Bute needed to get by a tough opponent mentally to prepare for Froch. Froch just needs a fight so he can stay fresh for the Bute clash in the spring.
Re: Carl Froch - Yusaf Mack - fight chat, sky sports.
A decent scrap Saturday afternoon here in the States and Canada, the card starts @ 3:00 PM ET, and around 8:00 PM in the UK/Europe.
At Nottingham, England (Integrated Sports PPV): Carl Froch vs. Yusaf Mack, 12 rounds, for Froch's IBF super middleweight title; Tony Bellew vs. Roberto Bolonti, 12 rounds, light heavyweights; Kal Yafai vs. Pio Nettuno, 8 rounds, bantamweights; Scott Cardle vs. Joe Elfidh, 8 rounds, lightweights.
Like someone said, Mack will be competitive for a few rounds before he starts fading, and Froch catches up with him. Froch by 8th round TKO.

I don't think this is a sellout so the public aren't buying it anyway. Will watch if it's on when I'm out.

Thats a deffinite!
Have you seen the video of the press conference? Mack is in his own little world staring at nothing.
He looks exactly like I feel when sat up in the morning knackered, or starving hungry and delerious.
Mack will be weak.
Re: Carl Froch - Yusaf Mack - fight chat, sky sports.
yeah he doesnt say much at all, its kinda creepy in a way. Froch just need to deliver the goods and move on.
