Can Malignaggi upset Broner?

I don't think it's so far fetched. He's quick, kinda tricky, moves around outside you. Broner needs to be close, he needs you walking in so he can counter.

Plus Broner has been the ten rounds only once, and all 4 of his decision wins were not one sided.

In his one ten rounder vs De Leon he had two 96-94 scores. He was essentially one good punch away from a draw, 2 from a loss. So he's not infallible.

If Paulie can stay away from his power I think he could do well.

Plus I like Paulie and don't like Broner that much.

No, I think Broner will beat him up badly. We haven't even seen Broner move up the gears yet. He's a prick, but he's a star for sure.

Paulie ia a cool guy but hes not a special fighter like broner, broner has a nack to get his opponents going to his pace and fighting his fight, if paulie could bang mabey some problems but his feather fists will be the largest thing that lets him down.

Paulie is a solid fighter but he's going to take a monumental beating in this one. Paulie is slick and works well against less refined fighters, but in Broner he's fighting a guy who a) is slicker than he is, b) is faster than he is and most importantly c) has huge KO power in both hands.

Paulie is as tough and resiliant as they come, but he's going to get hit hard and often, because Broner doesn't have to worry about his power. I'll take Broner by an 8th round TKO.

I'd love to see Malinaggi win, he's a real nice guy and a talented fighter, but Broner is a killer and will hurt him.

If Mallinaggi can stay away from him, he can be one of the slickest fighters out there.

I doubt that will happen, but there is always a chance. Broner is the real deal.

Paulie of a few years ago out foxes the shit out of Broner I think but he is war torn and coming what should have been a loss where he was really hurting and will lose. In fairness though love him or hate him Paulie has been there and done that ten fold on a high scale...would it really be a massive upset? Broner is the next coming of the Holy Father blah blah but is still more promise than proof in my book. It's a good fight.

I don't even consider paulie to be all that "slick" he's not hard to hit, plus he's got no pop . I'm really not sold at all on broner and hate that he skipped 140 cause I think matthyse would have torn him a new one but paulie is just another opponent to make broner look like the next coming blah

I hope Paulie can win this fight and pull out the victory. It would be great to see the dumb ass Broner lose. The only advantage he has is that he is experienced at fighting at this weight, Broner is making a huge jump.

I don't see it happening, the only chance the magic man has is to keep Broner at distance with those straight shots. plenty of jabs and a few straight rights and constant movement. He can't afford to let Broner inside, once he does he will take big shots and get worn down. He can escape a few exchanges but they will take their toll.

Malignaggi just will not be able to keep that up for the whole 12 rounds while dodging Broners assaults. I feel that is the way to beat Broner but Malignaggi is not the man to do it. I could be wrong but he couldn't keep Hatton at bay so that doesn't bode well for his chances.

The weight jump might hinder Broner but I feel he will carry the weight well, he looked twice the size of Rees so I think he knows his body can handle the extra weight with ease. He wouldn't jumping up in weight if he knew he would struggle.
