Khan can beat Mayweather (maybe)

Don't expect many to agree with this but ......

I just read a few articles with Floyd praising Khan for his heart ,that he's a true fighter who will always get up to fight after a knockdown etc - true really and Khans always game even after some heavy shots and no one can knock his heart.
I think he will pick Khan for his next fight and I think he's in for a nightmare of a night if he does.
Yeah Floyd might catch him sooner or later but its what happens before that excites me.
Khan will go straight after him with superfast shots and wont let him rest and will set a fierce pace that I don't think Floyd will be able to cope with the longer it goes on and Floyd was blowing out of his ass between the latter rounds against the Ginger and that was a comfortable pace.
Basically Khan will force him into the deep end and I think Floyds gonna have to stand and fight him sooner rather than later as I expect Khan to win a good few early rounds.
I think it could boil down to whether or not Khan can keep his discipline and use his brain as to whether or not he takes the older man the full 12 and nicks this on points.
It could of course end Hatton style with Floyd going on his first exciting offensive since the Mosley fight and Khan not being able to take what Mosley could.
I don't see this being an easy night at all for Mayweather and think Khan has the abilities and style to cause the upset.
Stranger things have happened in boxing ;)

Khan will be completely dominated... And probably stopped.

i watched some of floyd v judah again the other day and judah gave him a very good fight with his speed

khan definately has the speed to cause problems

if he had better punch resistence i might even back him :)

Baffles me that people think he's superhuman , Hatton gave him problems until he stopped moving his head, Oscar just ran out of steam but came very close and Judah was a nightmare for him.
Floyd wont like Khans speed at all and I don't think at this stage of his career he can cope with a fighter like that.
He'd have to knock Khan out to keep him off which is a huge reality with Khans chin but I think Khans got it in him to win this if he uses hia brain lol

And so the Khan hyping has begun.. This should be good. Can't wait to hear how much a bum he was when he loses.

Khan has the speed to be sure but not the variety and not great quality of punches.

His technique is not the best and his one dimensional attacks will be mastered by Floyd in 3 rounds. Floyd know this, he's studied him up and he knows that Khan is an easy opponent.

His legacy is in jeopardy should be drop his WBC belt and not face Manny in order to dispatch this mismatched opponent for far less money and glory. Surely you can see that!

You wont hear many on this forum saying he's a bum if he loses.
Unlike many of Floysds opponents he wont just plod towards him clueless like a sitting duck, he'll go straight after him and force the pace and whatever happens will make a real fight of it.
Thats not a bum where I come from, like I said he wont allow Floyd to breeze it on points he'll force him to stop him and this will be a fight ;)

Hmmm.. Yeah ok. I guess that may be right. He might not be such the raging bull though Khan once he starts getting countered and punched in the face lots and lots though.

I still think Manny is who Floyd needs to fight now given Pac is ranked #1.

I think Khan should give Virgil Hunter the elbow, go back to Freddie Roach and just come out attacking Floyd all guns blazing. Yeah he'll eventually get knocked out, maybe even in the first round, but whilst it lasts it will be electric.

With hindsight it's easy to look back at the Garcia fight and see the lefthooks he was getting timed with. But until he did finally get chinned he was whooping Garcia and we didn't know then that Garcia had a granite chin or was going to prove himself proper top drawer.

They're all too quick to make changes and look for excuses in this game.

I don't think that'll happen infact I think Floyd will be behind in he first half of the fight purely on Khans punch output.
Again...Floyd will be forced to go on the attack at some point but when's he had to do that since the Mosley fight and can he still keep up that tempo?

I don't think he can anymore , I don't think the Pac fight happens soon either, the money split and ego clash will put the brakes on that again unfortunately.

For me Floyds legacy is all about being undefeated not losing one belt ;)

The majority of the forum already think he's a bum (weirdly). He can't lose really.

I wonder if Floyds just thinks I don't like this pace so fuck it lets have it then :)
One thing I am 100% on is Khan will bring the fighter out in Floyd for a change.
Hope this gets sorted , I see fireworks for this one and wanna see what Mayweather has left when he's made to fight at a fierce pace.

Ok but some would argue that speed of itself is overrated. I think Mayweather can bring Khan down to a more comfortable pace. He has great speed himself but he also has superior accuracy and timing. We will see how it goes mate.

I like the fight too from a personal perspective.

But in all seriousness, look at the fighters Khan has been tamed by, now is it really possible that he will control the pace and distance and land anything significant on the best defense in the busniess and also not dive onto the best laser right hand in the business. Apart from blazing speed Khan is outmatched in every other department (which is no slight on him, as most Floyd opponents are).

Knocked down through gung ho mistakes but not tamed.
Most of the fights you mean (bar prescott) he was in total contol even scoring early knockdowns , his macho side comes out when he gets complacent then his bollocks grow and gets clipped, always been his biggest problem along with the fact he will get straight back up and start fighting again lol he just cant help himself.
I think he'll catch Floyd and hurt him early on.
This is in no way an easy night for Mayweather and no way does he outmatch Khan for Stamina ;)
