Rumble in the Jungle II - Frank Warren's Big Idea - Chisora v Wlad
Stadium shows and ‘Rumble in the Jungle II’: Dereck Chisora plots ultimate redemption in 2014 | The Pugilist - Yahoo Eurosport UK
Okay, I know at first look the idea of Chisora v Klitschko again may not be a particularly appetizing match up. Nonetheless, Chisora did pick up a few rounds against Vitali, and Klitschko has often been said to be ever so slightly chinnier than Vitali. First off Chisora needs to get through Rudenko next month, and possibly past Tyson Fury too, who beat him in their last meeting. That is two big if's right there, however, it is the 40th anniversary angle on the rumble in the jungle that is really interesting.
While the matchup isn't great, I still think taking two heavyweights out of their comfort zone into the sticky heat of an African jungle city still has that magical aspect that will bring people in. I never buy PPV's, frankly, I rarely think a fight is worth paying above what I already pay for my sports channels. However, Wlad v Chisora in a jungle city in Africa, I'll shell out good money for that. I think Wlad would still win, but the heat, humidity and unusual circumstances should be enough of a wildcard to make it interesting. As an idea, this one definitely has legs.

This idea definitely has legs if you've been taking drugs or have gone completely nuts. There's more chance of an alien invasion than that happening.

I can't believe you don't think it would be an interesting concept. I'll get my tinfoil hat ready for our visitors!

Sorry for being a miserable cunt but it's clearly just Chisora's fantasy. And it's a good story when you're at a press conference to sell your upcoming fight that otherwise wouldn't have got a mention. Just like Warren announces a deal with Tyson Fury that hadn't even been signed.
Chisora knows a man in South Africa that assured him as long as he becomes mandatory they'll win the purse bids and force Klitschko into Africa. ;D

Frank Warren should be clubbed to death like a baby fur seal and Dereck Chisora should be committed.
I think Chisora vs Price is a decent enough fight

Price is on the yellow brick road with Dorothy, the scarecrow and the lion;D

I know where Price is ross, he'll make a comeback if he stays dedicated but he's got to change some things up.
Chisora meanwhile is an aging pressure fighter, 30 years old and counting. With very little punching power....he'll start fading noticeably very soon.
As for Chisora taking rounds off Vitali...Vitali was fighting with 1 arm for the majority of the fight and he still won EASILY. Not as easily as usual but easily enough.

His most notable performance will remain the Vitali fight. It all happened too soon for him and he has already begun a decline. Hes looked vulnerable in his last couple of fights against people that Fury would take shit for if he signed to fight them.

It cost $ 23 million to get Wlad to fight a damp squib in Russia, do you really think an unknown African will pay as much if not more to have Chisora fight Wlad in another continent?

His notable performance WILL be the Vitali fight but not for his actual fighting, but for his disrespectful and cuntish behavior
Re: Rumble in the Jungle II - Frank Warren's Big Idea - Chisora v Wlad
You pay Wlad and he will fight you anywhere and he will beat Chisora. He does not forget the spitting of water in his face.
Re: Rumble in the Jungle II - Frank Warren's Big Idea - Chisora v Wlad
Let's be honest, the Chisora that had some good moments against Vitali was not just a little to do with the fact that Dereck was a 28yr old man and Vitali was in his 41st year.
I find it amusing how against a Klitschko anything less than a total dominating performance is considered being pressed to the limit, overlooking the fact that Vitali won nearly every round!!
Wladimir is much sharper than Vitali and I don't think he would let Chisora inside, atleast not without being hugged.
This isn't a really competitive fight and Rumble in the Jungle 2 it will not live up to!!
