Was a good fight, he was swinging and missing and was catching up with him towards the end but he quit with a hand injury he said, but I think he couldn't hack the pace anymore hahaha ;)

Good one Tam, keep it up.:appl:
The old hand injury excuse. You beat his ass. Well done!
This amateur or Pro? Either way impressive. Maybe even more so if amateur. Good job.
As soon as I can get hold of the footage I'll post it mate. Thanks everyone . I've watched it back and again there's a lot of work to be done but I was really happy with my slipping, barely got punched and I busted his nose up. In the clinch his breathing towards the end was strange he was looking for a way out because I was landing hard right hands. It's a shame because I was warming up nicely, he came out swinging and hit me with one round the back of the head that I felt , my head was a bit buzzy but my legs were fine. That was the only shot that I felt though and I'm sure it wasn't a legal punch. I'm not moaning about it because I can take a dig and got on with it and started boxing. Was a good experience though because he was there to win and I got another stoppage.
I'm fighting again may 4th and my opponent was watching it. It will be a cracking fight we have had loads of good spars and will be a war. He's my mate though but we both are ok with having a proper fight. Back to the gym Monday, 6 weeks to go !!
White collar mate semi pro it is. But we did have headguard and 16 oz gloves on. I would love to do ABA boxing again but there's no ABA gyms where I live in southport which is near Liverpool, it's a shame really. But I'm hopefully going to move to Liverpool soon and I'll join a gym who go through the ABA. I've been at my gym since I was 13 though so it will be hard going elsewhere as I love are gym and we have great fighters and coaches there too. I just wish we boxed through the ABA. We are mainly a Thai boxing gym though.

I remember from your last fight you do over rely on the right hand. So develop your left hand with hard jabs and left hooks. ;)
Honestly master if you saw me in training and what everybody credits me for is how good of a jab I've got. It's weird because in sparring I never let my right hand go enough and use my jab a lot. But in real fights I let it go more. I think it's because I'm usually sparring with gym mates and we respect each other so I don't let my right hand go too often unless we are having a heavy spar.
You the man Tam!
Good one mate, you're living the dream :D.
