Any posters from Ireland?
Me and the GF are heading over there in October, and we're wondering what the real shit to see is over there, and I'm wondering if I can see any bare knuckle gypsy fights.

I am assuming this is a joke. If not pop across to the UK while you are there and you are almost guaranteed a bare knuckle fight in towns and cities across Great Britain on a Friday or Saturday night.

I will certainly be dropping over to the UK. Maybe even Amsterdam if I have time.
Flights from Ireland/UK can't be much eh? Or am I better off taking the train I wonder

I have taken the train from London via Paris to Amsterdam and it is quite a scenic route but flying is nearly always cheaper. Off the top of my head @Silkeyjoe is from Ireland and there is a Pro boxer who posts here sometimes from the Emerald Isle too. There are sure to be more. The obvious tourists things to see are the Giants causeway and the Joyce tour of Dublin etc but as long as you are up for the craic there is plenty of fun to be had all over Ireland. I have many Irish friends here and over there, most are musicians and if you like live music you will be spoilt for choice. Be prepared for plenty of Rain (Ireland and the UK) and be sure to try the local tipple whether that be a pint of the black stuff or a local Ale and you should be grand.
Re: Any posters from Ireland?
What dates you coming over? The main attraction is the pubs and theres plenty of them. If your looking for scenic shit id head over to the west coast. Can probably do a tour down the west coast whci would be great crack if you get the weather.
Re: Any posters from Ireland?

Yea weather will likely be shit. Do the guiness store house tour in Dublin. Id definitely recommend a weekend in Galway. As Beans said if you enjoy a pint and going to pubs you'll have a great time. Be warned though Irelands pricey.

U should delay your trip to November when Ireland are playing Scotland in Scotland. AN Ireland away match is an experience to behold.
