Oh, probably. I'm sure he does a good job reporting in some ways, but the guy is a fat slob who doesn't actually know anything about boxing, and it is ridiculous how easily he will criticize fighters he makes a living off of, given that.

I must keep this a secret for as long as possible. Otherwise, it takes away from the fun I have on this Forum. Writing can be a pain in the ass, but the forum is a welcome relief.

I don't mind Fat Dan, but he's getting dangerously close to his necks over taking his forehead if you get my drift :-X I loved his pieces in USA Today back in the day as it was basically the only boxing seen here in a "Newspaper". The ranking were not that bad. Did he say anything new recently, or just same ol stuff?

The last original thought the guy had was the moment of his birth. You could put Mr. Potato head as the lead boxing blogger for ESPN and he'd get in the door. I've always thought of him as a bit of a boxing gossip columnist and have never taken him seriously. He's an employee not a boxing fan.

im not a fan of him either. too many of the same jokes and he seems to not understand boxing in the least. maybe he knows some facts but ask him about the craft, he probably knows what a jab and uppercut are. thats probably the extent of his knowledge.
