Boxing videogame support and campaign
Please support the Boxing Videogame petition and campaign. Companies are saying boxing is dying or dead. Boxing is the only sport in which it’s athletes don’t show support when made into a game. Boxers and true historians need to be outspoken about the way their sport is being handled by a company.
A casual boxing fan can become a hardcore fan just by seeing and playing a deep boxing videogame. Gaming media is a huge part of today’s society like it or not. So, why not push for it to be as realistic as possible with it’s rich history and details of the sport.

I totally agree! A deep and detailed boxing manager/promoter game or mode would be great for a boxing game.
yep, I reckon id enjoy the sad bits like booking venues and negotiating purses and stuff
youd have to send your fighters all over the shop or try and get the fight at home
shit like that
build up their records, do promotional tours
Re: Boxing videogame support and campaign
I loved the fight nights games. I got so addicted to one of them that I broke the top 10 in Ireland in the online rankings for a bit. Took over my life tho. Id start playing in the evening with the plan to go to sleep and midnight and end up playing til 4 or 5 in the mroning and having to get up for work the next day. As such I cannot support such an irresponsible campaign :D
Re: Boxing videogame support and campaign
Fight night 2004 is the sole reason I became a hardcore fan and is the reason I'm here.
Not the reason I stayed here though :D
Seriously though, I've always liked boxing but rust game made me look at boxing in a completely different way. It gave me James Toney.
Re: Boxing videogame support and campaign
A well put together boxing videogame can make a hardcore fan out of a casual boxing fan.
Re: Boxing videogame support and campaign
I would kill for the supreme boxing game that hasn't yet been made. The tech is there to do it, the the talent is there, it's about a team taking the leap and going for it. Boxing has an underapreciated audience. We love our boxing and would love a great game to enjoy that experience with.
Re: Boxing videogame support and campaign
Would the object of the game be to screw the fighter for all he is worth and dump them as penniless hobos? Don King Style.

American is a funny language, do you know what a period is in English?
