People have a right to resist occupation, but all I am seeing are violent occupiers who are carrying out the bulk of the violence all over the place. Like anyone, I just want peace and fairness for all. Unfortunately our political systems are firmly opposed to peace and fund, train, and support bloodshed. If it isn't physical violence it is economic violence and regardless of a head being cut off or an old man freezing to death in his home, it is all wrong.
I look at Iraq and what has happened to it over the past 30 years and it is a constant attack and the people of Iraq are just people. Did they ask for any of this? It is generations of people that we have made suffer. The decades of sanctions, the bombing, the invasion, and now actively creating a group of extremists who are chopping people up? This is so bad. What have we done with this absurd war on 'terror'? We know exactly who the terrorists are, can we please lock them up? A nice long trial, with facts and evidence presented. No bodies dumped in the ocean, no drones, just proper rule of law and justice.

No, I condemn it, but that doesn't mean I will ignore the source. Israel is wrong for destroying Gaza, but it couldn't do so without US support. I think Obama has to get involved, but right now it's all about protecting US positions and the oil. It should be about the people! Before they go to these countries, they should fully understand them and use that in an effort to rebuild. It is all very much insane and butchery. After the 2and World War, we had War crime trials, and many evil people were executed, and deservedly so, the World and society are a much safer place with out them.

I think Beanz is saying that when you go to lengths to explain and add reason to these acts (even if you also condemn them) you are in a sense justifying them. But there is no justification.
They behead or bury alive Iraqi citizens of different sects because of the West's foreign policy?
That does not explain these acts. That is not a sequence of events that even makes sense. They do this because they are beyond warped.
Saying the US aided the rise of ISIS is right. Not arguing there. But that is not what warped these people.
It certainly isn't black and white, and I not one for seeing things from a west-centric point of view generally, but I also don't buy into this 1+1 = 10000000000 stuff, ie Evil West + Normal Muslims = murderous butchering Muslims. No. These guys would be evil no matter what injustices they have perceived.
Some people need reminding that the West are not always the do gooder good guys, but equally others need to remember that Muslims are not always the innocent victims simply resisting oppression.
