Perhaps the most decorated HW boxer within the last generation. More decorated in the am's than Wlad, Wilder and Solis combined. But, he was manhandled by Wlad.

Wlad may break the record. If Pulev could not even come close, if Thompson lost twice, Povetkin didn't even make a dent.... then who is to stop him?
Jennings? Wilder? Who!?!? Ortiz? Stiverne? Helenius?? Who?!?!
Ask @Max Power he thinks they have been quality opponents and the best fighters we have ever seen in the history of the division because they are so big, heavy and have athletic bodies. :)

Povetkin is a very good boxer and his standard of opposition has been pretty decent compared to a lot of other hyped heavies.

One of those rare moments that I can in fact agree here.
I will judge Alexander Povetkin on the merits of what he achieves in his own era period and will not claim that he could have done this and that in the 90's.
And on the upside here, your friends also cannot make claims that some of those 90's fighters would have trumped Povetkin in this era unless they also have a DeLorean.
