Lemieux accepts the fight with N'Dam for IBF title
Lemieux Accepts N'Dam Fight For Vacant IBF Title - Boxing News
This should be a good fight and I'm looking forward to it. A big puncher , versus a boxer mover with a terrific jab. Tough one to call this one.

@Beanflicker no place to hide. :)

Good fight, I see a big KO for Lemieux coming and one more step towards middleweight domination.
Re: Lemieux accepts the fight with N'Dam for IBF title
Why was this title so hard to find two guys to fight for it? What's wrong here?!!? Usually a vacant title scrap pretty much sorts itself out- #1 vs. #2, or at the very least #2 vs. #3 if #1 is engaged in another fight, usually for another title.
What in the world is going on in boxing these days?!?!

Too many titles? Bigger and better fights for top contenders?

Sturm didn't want the fight because he's moving up to 168 and Saunders has a contract with the WBO to step aside to allow Quillen and Lee to fight, then he fights the winner. The next available contender was Lemiuex and he's accepted the fight.

That is what I meant. :)
Re: Lemieux accepts the fight with N'Dam for IBF title
David must be feeling pretty good. He just joins Oscars banner and gets a title fight right off the bat and is at least in the front of the market. If he wins this and does so impressively, the buzz for him and 3g will start immediately.
Love to see him and the Kazak go at it but that's a bit of a wait.

Good fight. N'Dam better request a big ring. N'Dam should keep the fight at long range and outbox Lemieux. Lemieux needs to keep up his defense and try to grind N'Dam out over the rounds, eventually getting to him. It's hard to pick. It could be like the Quillin fight where N'Dam outboxes Lemieux but Lemieux puts him down a few times and wins the fight. For some reason I buy N'Dam's excuse for the Quillin fight and I think he'll come to this fight ready to go and he'll outbox Lemieux. @IamInuit - don't begrudge me too much for that opinion. :)

As much as I like GGG, he's on a different level than these guys. I would love to see the winner of this fight face the winner of Quillin-Lee though. That's a great fight.

Lol.
Thats a good breakdown and objective as hell so no begrudging. Btw I don't recall ever begrudging you. David has those T-REX arms so he has to do a Marciano in most of his fights. Shame Goldman isn't around. Ring size will be a factor and they will most likely compromise on 18. I don't think Ndam is slick enough and that David will corral him but he's got to be careful not to punch himself out.
Re: Lemieux accepts the fight with N'Dam for IBF title
I think Ndam will stop him late after picking Lemieux to pieces. Seen Lemieux a few times in victory and defeat and he never looks anything special to me and wouldnt think hes any better then Curtis Stevens. Hes fun to watch though and would match up well with a lot of fighters in the division.
