If you can't ROCK GGG, you can't beat him! Murray/Cotto had no chance
How was Murray supposed to win? His combinations did nothing at all. POst-fight interview with GGG, and GGG looked exactly the same as before the bell rang for Round 1. How is Cotto supposed to beat GGG? Cotto already seemed to lack power at 154 didnt he? If Cotto is going to beat GGG, how on earth will he do it? HE IS GOING TO HAVE TO MOVE ALOT! I was not so impressed with his victory over Martinez. I cannot see at 160 Miguel Cotto hurting GGG. I cannot either see Quillin be able to take those shots to the top of the head that GGG throws---Quillin seems to have some skinny little pretzel legs.
If you cannot ROCK GGG to the face, so that he feels it, and keep him OFF you, then why get in the ring with him?

Brock do you think you have the power to rock GGG ?
If so with your numerous chins you have a chance. ;)

Cotto has little chance against that IMO. GGG can throw and pressure all night long and he is a proper MW. Cotto can dig, but he doesn't seem to have carried that power to the higher weights and he would likely get battered and stopped in 8 rounds. GGG is definitely the man in the division and it looks as though he is going to be around for quite a few years yet. I can see him building up a lot of defenses at MW.

Cotto would have to be mad to face GGG, and I don't think the fight will happen as for pushing GGG
back at middle weight, there is no one to push him back in the division.!
At super middle that's a different story maybe,! Froch is big and strong powerful, he can be a bit crude but it would be a hell of a fight.
GGG reminds me of Hagler, a very hurtful puncher with every shot landed GGG, just cut's the ring off
and beats you up, now who will he fight next.?

He should have higher goals than a bunch of defenses. He's a better fighter than that. He should at least try for greater accomplishments. He can always come back to title defenses if he succeeds at greater things or not. When was the last GGG fight where there was even the tiniest possible doubt what would happen? He should try for better things
I can see your point but in the game of boxing, money is King mate if other Champions at higher or
lower weights can defend there title, against easy opponents and make good money they will it's a fact of life in boxing.
GGG is a danger man, lets face it fight 3 bums for a million each, or GGG for 2 million pros and cons
Chris Eubank fought plenty of what you would call bums, but he was really well paid so Champions
would have to be really paid well to face GGG.
How much would Ward want to fight GGG, put it like this it would not be peanuts would it,! ££ $$$$;)
Re: If you can't ROCK GGG, you can't beat him! Murray/Cotto had no chance
Cotto just decided to fight at a lower weight after that fight.

I think he should stay where he, make all the money possible, secure his family's future, and collect every belt possible before he puts on his shining armor and rides off looking for glory.
Reasonable real world thinking. I just watch sport to see people attempt greatness. As a Floyd fan(the boxer not the man) I'm still disappointed he didn't fight Stevie Johnston, Winky Wright and I hope if he wins so wide against Pac that there is no rematch I would want him to jump up and try GGG for number 50. Win or lose isn't nearly as relevant as trying to me.
Floyd will just sell his next fight after Manny, should he win with ease, as being his last against a poor opponent.
He will then make a "comeback" to fight one last fight to surpass Rocky's record against another non-entity. He will not dare tackle someone like GGG.
