Frampton looked the bollocks - ITV should go again
seriously impressed with the Jackal he did everything well and I can see him unifying the division sooner or later.
The McGuigans have done a top job and seem to have a decent group of fighters coming through.
The atmosphere looked electric and loads of fun last night so let's hope ITV stick with them in the future.
Wonder what the ratings were?
Re: Frampton looked the bollocks - ITV should go again
Didn't see the fight but yes he seems to have a toughness to go with his engine.
Re: Frampton looked the bollocks - ITV should go again
Frampton looked quality and I want more fights like this before Quigg because I know that will be on sky ppv platform because they are all cunts about that.
Therefore I want loads of defences on ITV before that happens.
Re: Frampton looked the bollocks - ITV should go again
We need channel 5 and ITV with BBC investing in boxing.
Re: Frampton looked the bollocks - ITV should go again
McGuigan and his mob were a bit out of order rubbishing Quiggs title.
Frampton became "world" champion by beating a man he had previously knocked out. And in a division that has a universally recognised standout champion, that everyone is terrified of, that makes that IBF belt worth two bob, just like Quiggs and Santa Cruz's are.
Re: Frampton looked the bollocks - ITV should go again
1.1m average? Surely that can't be impressive. Fury and DeGale were beating that on 5. Prejudice against the "little" men
Lets get back to SKY so we can make the Quigg fight.
Re: Frampton looked the bollocks - ITV should go again
1.9 million on ITV (peak Audience and 450,00 on Irish TV is good figures and it wasn't even really advertised that much.
TV Viewing Figures for Carl Frampton v Chris Avalos -
Quigg fight has to be on Sky so let's hope McGuigan doesn't "stall" that to continue working with ITV but i have a feeling he might just do that to build up Framptons audience to the Terrestrial/average man in the street audience.
Catch 22 situation really :-\

Forget Quigg, let him come to ITV.
