Maidana was a C level fighter who Floyd messed about with and got fans to believe could beat him. In reality Floyd got closer to his running down his fat contract quicker and getting fans to pay for the illusion.

Maidana only had one chance at beating Floyd, and that was what he did- swarm Floyd and try to land some big shots. Other than that we knew the second fight would have been a white-wash. The first one was more interesting to me because we knew Floyd has not felt power like Maidana's in a long, long time.
