Matthysse-Provodnikov/Crawford-Dulorme/Chavez-Fonfara cards thread

Evening everybody. The Crawford undercard is showing in Britain right now. A bout in the lightweight division.

Been looking forward to Matthysse-Providnikov for a while. It should be a great fight, but I think Matthysse's chin will crack first.

I'm just hoping there's no clash of heads and an early stoppage or that Prov's face doesn't split open in the first few rounds. No stoppages due to cuts please, a definitive ending. If it's a close fight I can see a rematch definitely. This decade's Gatti-Ward.

I'm going Matthysse/Crawford/Fonfara.

I think Matthysse has the skills to outbox Provodnikov, but I'm sure he'll be drawn into a brawl.

Got my beers in the fridge, ready to watch the Matthysse-Provo fight..... and TVO'ing the other fight where hopefully Fonfara puts Junior on his weight-cheat, coattail-riding ass.

One of the worst haircuts ever on display in the ring in Texas. A number two on the top and sides, shaved an inch or two above the ears and a great big bush at the back. Deserves a screenshot.

EDIT: It's even worse. It's maybe an inch long on top and slicked forward. Ffs.

As usual, I'll try to get my comments in between rounds.... but if the fight heats up and there's a lot of replays, it may become difficult.

I thought this was a split site HBO broadcat? The Crawfors fight folowed by the Matthysse fight? They're saying on Brit TV that the Crawford fight will be live and the Matthysse fight will be taped and shown after the Crawford fight. Is that how you're getting to watch them in the States?

Apparently yes, because they're about to start the Crawford-Dulorme fight, and that'll be followed by the Lucas-Provo fight. Hey, wait.... if the Matthysse fight is going to be taped in the States, is the UK going to see it live? If so, I don't want to know the results.
