I'm fighting in Malta December 7th !!!
Heard this great news today and I've been given this opportunity to box abroad on a decent card which usually has semi pro and pro fights on it. I'm fighting somebody called Richard Vella, who knocked out James Higgy who I boxed last time and lost a very close points decision to. I've heard that Higgy was safely out boxing Vella until the 5th round and he got caught with a body shot and it ended him. I've heard that's Higgys weak point and they capatilised on it.
In terms of me fighting Vella, I wasn't out of my depth at all with Higgy so i think this will make it an interesting fight. It's either going to be 4 or 6 rounds, I've still not heard yet. I am also fighting at 168. I am currently 171 and have lost a stone nearly since my last fight with Higgy. I've been straight back to the gym and still have that desire to win. I felt like I should of had the decision last time but this is boxing and it doesn't always go your way.
I'll have to be on top form if I'm going to win abroad on his home show, but I'm again once again taking the challenge and pushing myself even harder in training. I'm feeling even better now that I am approaching supermiddleweight and I still have a lot of preparation time for this.
I can't wait guys it's going to be a fantastic experience for me and it will continue my drive in boxing. I could potentially have one fight in between this one but I'm not sure yet I'll keep you up to date.

Best of luck Tam, you seem to be pushing yourself hard fair play to you. He looks like he likes to intimidate opponents, and he does look strong. He doesn't believe in using a jab much, he throws loads of big heavy shots. To be fair, his head movement seems excellent.
Go out there positive mate, use plenty of movement , but match his aggression as well if you can. Give it everything mate, and enjoy the whole experience. No reason why you can't beat this guy.;D

Go Tam! Watch this guy on the breaks..seems to like to sneak and extra one in there. He also seems to love loading up on the right while pawing with the range finder. Somewhere there is a short left hook with this guys name all over it from someone who will stand their ground.

I wil make sure there is footage. Its been annoying of late with the lack of footage ive been able to provide and only the pictures. Ive been told I should have a copy of the fight I had with James Higgy next week. Ive asked a million times and don't get a reply when I ask for them footage for the fight before that. Its annoying as hell because I want to see where I need to improve and want to share my fights with you lot.

That's exactly the right thing to do mate. You've lost a lot of weight very quickly and you need to make sure you keep your strength. Good luck bud.

He is a good fighter, cocky and confident. You are going to have to be in the best condition of your life. You have to focus and stick to your game plan. Never hesitate and go for the victory. Give it your best shot that is all we ask and enjoy it.

Just looked at a bit of that fight you posted. Just be consistant with your output, try to initiate and be first and just do not load up. Punches only hurt if they land so just concentrate on landing. He didnt look anything special and as long as you are relaxed and loose and let your hands go you should be fine.
