Katie Taylor/Sky/Saturday - Women's boxing?
The show on Saturday has some decent fights - Ohara Davies, Martin J Ward and Hall-Jones. However, it features Katie Taylors debut and SKY/Matchroom have been giving it the full monty.
I don't have a problem with womens boxing but personally couldn't give a shit about pro womens boxing. There are just 116 boxers listed in her weight-class, compare that with 2000 geezers, which just about says it all. Apparently she could fill a small stadium in Ireland.

I do not like women's boxing just as I do not like women's football. The standard is poor.
Re: Katie Taylor/Sky/Saturday - Women's boxing?
I must say I don't have a great deal of interest in womans sports and that's probably due to my own ignorance.
I'll watch it and if they put on a show then why not have it showcased.. it can't be worse than some mens performances (Malik Scott for example).

Tennis and beach volleyball are worth a watch

Are you allowed to hit them in the tits?
Re: Katie Taylor/Sky/Saturday - Women's boxing?
The show is free on the Sky mix channel on the virgin platform.
Re: Katie Taylor/Sky/Saturday - Women's boxing?
I am not a fan of women hitting each other in MMA or Boxing , not many participate so its only about regional area standard.
I do remember Homer Simpson saying foxy boxing was worth a watch :)
Re: Katie Taylor/Sky/Saturday - Women's boxing?
only way to increase the talent gene pool is to increase exposure and normalisation of the sport.
Re: Katie Taylor/Sky/Saturday - Women's boxing?
Saw the repeat of the card and was that Carson Jones who won his fight? I thought he had retired.
