I thought mines was too much, it would be another £300 per year if it included bus which is why I take the bike instead as it pays for itself in the long run.

Todayit took me 50 minutes to travel 1 mile, yes 1 mile! road works everywhere. But I need my car so cant walk as got kids school run to do on lunch break.

There are major interstate highways between where I live and where I work and there are no pedestrian walkways or even bicycle Lanes allowed on those major interstates. Plus going through the Lincoln Tunnel into Manhattan you cannot walk or ride bicycles
