Ok so first, Miss America dropped the swimsuit competition from its program. Now an NBA franchise will be covering up its cheerleaders a bit more. According to a team official:

"We want the focus to be on the dancers as artists and to highlight their skills, not be eye candy or sexualized,"

Seems we're reverting back to the 50's here. Maybe even further back.



Oh well....... as long as they don't mess with the boxing ring card girls (or the Tecate girls).

I can understand why they are doing this as it is eye candy and they do not add anything to boxing.

Aw c'mon @Master ... ring card girls are as old, well..... they've been around for awhile. Seriously what's the harm in that. Been to lots of fight cards with my buddies, and we always have a good time between rounds taking turns with the binoculars. What's wrong with a little harmless distraction, especially if the fight itself is a little slow?

If they take away the ring card girls, boxing will surely die. ;D

When I went to watch BJS at York hall I had a photo taken with the ring girls, they stood had a wee chat with me and were perfectly at ease, they seemed to be enjoying themselves and were more than happy to stand awhile and have a little chat with everyone...until they saw that I had a semi...things got awkward then, I tried to pounce on one of them but they were too quick and managed to get away.

I went to watch BJS at York hall once, met the ring girls, I groped the ones tit and she slapped me in the face but it was all good fun so I did it again, she spat in my face, i thought at this point "things are getting kinky now" I didn't want the other hot piece of fanny to miss out so I grabbed her by the pussy, both of them jumped on me, we were rolling around on the floor when a bunch of jealous guys dragged me away from them.
