I’m excited for Loma/Lopez in April

I have a rep for hating on Loma because I don’t think TR should have refused to fight Berchelt at 130 and Garcia at 135. Seems like everyone should want the best vs the best but some just like their guys I guess.

Even though I don’t think Lopez is ready for this I’m excited for it. I see Lopez as the best opponent for Loma since Russell. He has a good list of names but each had a serious disadvantage since Gary.

I fully expect Loma to expose all Lopez limitations but that is because Loma is Loma, not a knock on Lopez. At the same time, Lopez is a threat and that’s something we’ve been waiting for for a while. No weak chin, no heavy feet, no moving up in weight. We have a talented full blown lightweight vs a legend, what more could we ask for?(was shocked to see Loma looked bigger than him side by side)

I think it will be a good fight. Lopez has his own style and I think it could throw off Loma a little bit.

Lopez could've probably used a few more rounds vs Commey, but damn......... that was an impressive beatdown.

Not sure what to make of a Loma-Lopez showdown... but Teo definitely cannot be taken lightly.

I'm excited as well. Lopez could do with a little more seasoning but he will definitely ask questions of Loma. 135 has some excellent young fighters, Lopez, Haney, Davis.

Lopez needs a bit more experience before he faces Loma it's a fact Lopez needs more rounds 2 or 3 defence's of his title then maybe.!

I'm still not convinced about Lopez's chin, but he is exciting with fluid style and explosive power. Lopez will has hard time dealing with Loma's movement, but if he can connect him cleanly, he may be able to hurt Loma

So close to what exactly? You mustve. Didnt really mean anything in the first place.

Come around that Loma trains Lopez if this comes off. Schools probably a better description. First time Lopez has to hurdle speed disadvantage as well as countering on top of it just to remain hopeful. Basically Loma knows much more what to do with the deeper toolbox that he owns.
