Sebastian Fundora v Carlos Ocampo Showtime Oct. 8

In the backdrop of the fiasco that was Eubank Benn this has gone under the radar. Really it's just nice to have live action but late on this. Better late than never, it's actually a very solid triple header tomorrow. Fundora figures to have a decent showcase off of the war with Lubin. Ocampo is hard to gauge 4 years after being sent out in 1 by Errol Spence Jr. Good numbers over a 10 fight win streak since vs the usual suspects but Fundora is another animal entirely.

Carlos Adames vs Juan Macias Montiel will fight for another interim 160 belt. This could break out into a tale of two fights if it starts going late. Third fight is quality with Fernando Daniel Martinez 14-0 in a rematch with Jerwin Ancajas 32-2-2 who he lifted the belt from in February. Looking back, I think the first fight was much better than given credit for with cards way too wide. Feels like Ancajas had been idle in a heated spr fly division and surprise Martinez absolutely crashed the gates in his US debut. His style has zero pause. Hopefully rematch proves just as good.

Mean Machine Kavaliauskas vs Mykal Fox another fight on the card and should be aired but it looks like it can only be seen possibly on youtube. That's a seriously solid fight. Massive contrast in styles. On a side note it's absolutely insane the wba ranks Gabriel Maestre high over Fox. Once of the worst robberies that occurred last year and Fox has to completely fight his way back.

looks like a good card & i could see a couple of potential upsets, i like mean machine but he has struggled with southpaw boxers before, if mykal's chin can hold out he could pull this off & juan macias is no slouch so carlos better be prepared. i think pumita martinez & the towering inferno fundora get the job done here

edward vazquez won an eight round split decision over viktor slavinskyi. i had edward by about four points. one judge had it for viktor by four

gave mean machine the first round

mykal down twice in the third

mykal hanging tough but mainly just moving now, all one way traffic after five

mykal just basically running & trying to survive, i didn't give mykal a round, should be a wide win on the cards for mean machine

unanimous decision for mean machine

Had Foxing winning about 3,4 rounds but he was on notice all night after the 2 knock downs. Mean Machine eased off a bit but couldn't stand him still long enough to follow up. Good win for him.

three to four? i didn't see that. mean machine is past his best & can no longer apply the same pressure he used to but he is still a tough opponent

4,5,6 I believe. A little on the other side. Prob kept it smart not emptying the aged tank just trying to catch up. If that ring is a little bigger Fox could have taken flight like a condor the way he was moving.

Weird doing a complete highlight package of Ancajas and Martinez just a few minutes from fight ;D. I mean we're tuned in already. Was a quality first fight though. And -1 point on Martinez for those Kenny Powers "I owned a Camaro once" shades.

Nice long hook rotated head of Ancajas. Martinez all in his chest. Nice right to body for Ancajas but Martinez has that physicality going early.
