Chris Eubank Jr v Conor Benn 2
The hype has started for the rematch and it will be an entertaining contest.
Eubank, 35, used the opportunity to claim Team Benn and Eddie Hearn tried to "sabotage" him before his first fight with Benn in April.
Among several accusations, Eubank claimed Team Benn meddled in his weight cut, branding them "ruthless" and "without restraint".
"They did everything they could to try and destroy me in this last fight. Contract breaches, fines, rehydration clauses, sabotage weigh-in, biased commentary and refereeing," Eubank began before Hearn batted away the claims as false.
The Wednesday media event was the first time Eubank and Benn have seen each other since their first bout.
Eubank was admitted to hospital after the win and said he lost a toenail to "severe dehydration".
"I've never heard so much waffle," Hearn replied. "You are playing the victim."

The rematch is attempting to recapture the magic of the first fight, when the sons of boxing legends Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn faced off in front of 60,000 people at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Eubank Jr and Hearn clashed repeatedly during the build-up to the first fight, with the former taking to heckling the Matchroom promoter whenever he spoke.
The bad blood has seemingly spilled over, with Eubank Jr accusing Conor Benn of going on a "victory tour" despite losing.
"I'm telling you right here and now, you ain't no champion and you most definitely ain't no people's champion," Eubank said.
"These men aren't not men of the people. They are pretending. They're pretending to be the good guys. Wolves in sheep's clothing."
Benn did not rise to the bait of Eubank, letting his promoter do most of the talking.
But the 28-year-old promised to be less "greedy" in the rematch.
"It felt like I was one punch away from winning, but I was always looking for the one punch," he said.

These two men still cashing off of their father's good names. Quite a shame neither of them have a credible career to build off of. They are as bas as Jake Paul.
Re: Chris Eubank Jr v Conor Benn 2
I want Eubank to win again purely to upset the Matchroom apple cart. Eddie was full of it how he ran rings around Ben Shalom and Boxxer at the negotiating table, and still lost.
That said, there is a very simple solution to Eubanks problems. Don't take the fight.
Re: Chris Eubank Jr v Conor Benn 2
if it does go ahead will just be a rerun of the first. A game Benn unable to hurt the bigger man
Re: Chris Eubank Jr v Conor Benn 2
Still have not got around to catching the first but may give it a go this weekend.

It was a very entertaining contest and they did show they have the courage and heart of their dads.

The undercard for Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn’s rematch has been announced, with Jack Catterall and Ekow Essuman squaring off in the chief support bout.
Nottingham’s Essuman last fought in May, venturing into enemy territory to beat Josh Taylor on points in Scotland. Now, he has been paired with Taylor’s longtime rival Catterall, who competes at welterweight for the second time as he faces Essuman.
Chorley’s Catterall won a technical decision against Harlem Eubank, the cousin of Eubank Jr, in his divisional debut in July. With that, he bounced back from a narrow loss to Arnold Barboza Jr in a super-lightweight interim-title fight.
Also on the card in Tottenham will be a super-lightweight bout between the highly-touted Adam Azim and opponent Zaur Abdullaev; a heavyweight clash pitting Richard Riakporhe against Tommy Welch; a super-welterweight meeting between Sam Gilley and Ishmael Davis; and a super-flyweight match-up between Mikie Tallon and Fezan Shahid.

This was a good face off and they did not need anyone in the middle. Both could have gone on for hours and it was a shame the interviewer had to stop the recording. Chris wanted to goad Conor and get him riled up.

I watched this and I don’t reckon Eubank wanted to goad Benn. I don’t think he needed to! Benn was trying so hard not to get riled that it was killing him. It made it worse.
Eubank found it a piece of piss to wind him up, he wasn’t even trying.
It is what it is, makes no difference to fight night.
Logically you have to think that it will pan out exactly like the first fight. But these two are set for life now, so one of them could easily not be motivated.
It’s a joke fight , it shouldn’t be happening and they’re not worth the money they’re getting………..but of course, I’ll watch it! ;D

Richard Riakporhe knocks out the unbeaten Tommy Welch in brutal fashion. He looks impressive as a heavyweight.

Adam Aziz stops scooby doo in the 12th and last round. He should fight Noakes for the world title when he wins it next week.
