Tank Davis vacates, moves up, Loma’s mandatory
As the WBA champion he automatically becomes Loma’s mandatory. This is finally a matchup for Loma worth talking about. A PPV, a mega fight. Get...it...made!!!
Fantastic news for both Tank, who I was worried was going to waste away. And Loma, who needed a big fight.

Re: Tank Davis vacates, moves up, Loma’s mandatory
Davis has the talent but I don’t think has the skills.

I’m not against the fight. I like it. I’m just stating that I think that Davis will look ordinary in against Loma.

Re: Tank Davis vacates, moves up, Loma’s mandatory
it sounds good but tank will more than likely target gamboa for some regular title, we will be made to wait as usual

Re: Tank Davis vacates, moves up, Loma’s mandatory
That's a WBO rule not WBA (when I last cared). However, why would Al/Floyd/Tank want to be mandatory? They would be entitled to just 25% of the pot. Good luck waiting for Al/Floyd/PBC/Showtime/Fox doing that deal with Bob/ESPN.
Judging by Tank's safety first, Michael Jackson matchmaking, he'll be fighting Gamboa (WBA no.2) for the vacant regular belt. Bet on it.
(nice try at blaming Loma when it doesn't happen)

You are a trash human being, lying on every post. I did absolutely nothing to blame Loma in any way, everyone can read that. Put your hood up.

Trash human? Fair point. Liar? No. Hurts when someone has your number, right? Knows more than you? You don't fool me, company man :)

Re: Tank Davis vacates, moves up, Loma’s mandatory
Davis has the power to be a serious threat to Lomachenko.
I wouldn't be surprised if Tank stops him.

Re: Tank Davis vacates, moves up, Loma’s mandatory
I probably give Tank and better chance now than before. He still seems a bit linear and inexperienced for Loma. The thing for me now is that Loma seems to be losing focus, and preoccupied with other things rather than boxing. If you followed the guy on social media and off the boxing websites. He used to post some unique training videos and other things that showed him honing his physical and mental acuity. when there was no fight . Now there's vids of him doing spokesman modeling, drifting tuners, fishing, product hocking and then boxing content shows up to promote the fight. I get that you have to cash when your star quality goes up or risk losing out... and a guy needs to unplug every once in a while... Still when you're fighting bigger guys you have to be even more focused. I don't want to make it sound like there's shame it getting dropped on the seat of your pants by linares or getting caught leaping in on campbell (7th round).. you'll never be able to fight perfect all the time but these type of things are negated by focus and it feels like they are happening more often. Tanks faster and probably a more ferocious finisher than Loma has faced before, should something like this happen. Just sayin..

I’m not trying to fool anyone. Yes, you are trash. You lie constantly, it’s a shame because you actually have points, like Tank could fight Gamboa, fair point. But you are too busy pushing your lies to make that your point the highlight of the post. Everyone here knows that I want the fights, that’s all. And everyone here knows you will lie in every post. Put your hood on. It’s your favorite item, wear it with pride. Don’t be a coward as well as a liar.

You might be right, lomachenko has been saying he just wants to get all four belts then retire, sounds likes he had enough of the pro athlete life and fair enough. It'd be a pretty untraditional looking record he has if he does retire soon.

I never fault an athlete for retiring early because it’s their life, but it’s unfortunate when such a great athlete does. If Loma retires after a few more fights, then he will never be viewed what he could be viewed as. Honestly, if he beat the winner of Commey/Lopez, beats Tank, then beats another decent fighter and retires, he for sure is a HOFer, but he won’t go down as a professional ATG

Re: Tank Davis vacates, moves up, Loma’s mandatory
I'm really starting to rethink Davis. Would really like to see him do something of impactive relevance at 130 before jumping up but having already had weight issues and a belt dropped on the scale you could see it coming. 4 fights in 2 years of little note still very much feels like a promise yet to be realized. Loma as mentioned does have a feel of getting distracted, maybe even bored of it while 135 has some pretty solid talents. It also looks like he's growing into another division himself. Davis v Gamboa was all but teed up on the last card so should come off. It's nuts to think that for as many times as a near 40 yr old Gamboa has been written off and himself not realizing full potential, he'll arguably be the biggest name and threat on the record of Davis.

He’s young so it’s hard to say but Tank has been a major disappointment. Seems to always be drunk and headed towards a Broner ending. But, he is still young. So maybe Gamboa then Loma will get his head on straight because those aren’t guys to mess about with. If he can’t get right for that then he probably won’t ever anyway so too young isn’t a thing.
Loma seems to have a lot of young talent about to come to his division or reach the age to contend. I don’t buy for a second he will retire as young as he says. Maybe, if he runs out of challenges, but things seem to just be heating up.

Re: Tank Davis vacates, moves up, Loma’s mandatory
More loma bumming
Twat him tank
-
Re: Tank Davis vacates, moves up, Loma’s mandatory
Now the question is who has Tank fought to brave himself for a Loma fight and be considered a real threat. Can't be fighting bums and dodging fights and other top fighters and then want to step up and fight arguably the best in the world. That's how you get hurt.
-
Re: Tank Davis vacates, moves up, Loma’s mandatory
Great fight and great contrast of styles. I don't expect running, just combos and adjustments from Loma, combos and powershots from tank.

Re: Tank Davis vacates, moves up, Loma’s mandatory
ADRIEN BRONER and Gervonta Davis were involved in a huge backstage brawl, according to reports.
The incident happened outside Canelo Alvarez's dressing room in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
The two have often used social media to call each other out for a prospective fight in the boxing ring.
But according to Sports Illustrated writer Chris Mannix, the two controversial characters clashed backstage at the MGM Grand.
Mannix tweeted out: “Adrien Broner and Gervonta Davis got into a fistfight outside of Canelo’s locker room before the fight.
“Broner hit Davis with a huge punch, per witnesses, and then hit Davis’s pr guy with a haymaker.”

The article I read called this out as bullshit as the report states that Davis threw 2 punches which is unlike him
