Jake Paul v Mike Tyson OFFICIAL July AT & T stadium 80,000 capacity!
Well, here it is! We can say what we can’t about this fucker (and we all have!) but somehow he knows how to make fucking moolaaah! And fighting a legend of Boxing in the process. One minute he wants Canelo , the next Tommy Fury, the next Mike Tyson for fucks sake!
No more details about whether it’s an exhibition or not, how many rounds etc. etc.
thoughts?

This is by far your most cracking post since 2016 I believe October, and so based off this post of yours here I will look past your lack of a response al mio messaggio electronico che ti ho scritto alcuni giorni fa, stronso

Re: Jake Paul v Mike Tyson OFFICIAL July AT & T stadium 80,000 capacity!
Two tales of last weekend for boxing. Jake Paul fights and really it was a little mute. No huge build up it was just Jake fighting some part time plumber and the huge take away of the night was Amanda Serrano having her fight cancelled on a few hours' notice due to a bad eye infection resulting from hair products :cwm13:. At the same night we had Raymond Ford and Otabek Kholmatov putting in a leading championship FOTY candidate that had old school classic vibes and what this sport is so desperately missing today. No diva strutting, no purse cut arguments, no slap fights on twatter or fans acting like accountants. Just appreciation for two actual warriors. It genuinely felt great. Old man standing on his lawn waving his fist at the cloud's moment here ;D.
Chances are I'll be missing this mega fight extravaganza though. Likely chance it'll rank up there with Duran v Barkley, Ali v Frazier and Barrera v Morales and Jake will finally begin his long-advertised assent to greatness sharing the ring with a true legend in Tyson. Legends are not born, they are chiseled from years of dedication and perfection of craft. Thank you Jake :jesus:, and don't let the old man catch you clean with the 16 oz gloves.

Re: Jake Paul v Mike Tyson OFFICIAL July AT & T stadium 80,000 capacity!
Let’s hope we don’t see the same outcome as when Holyfield did this.
Holyfield must have been close to 60 then.
Tysons legacy is at stake unfortunately, regardless of his age. Losing to Fake Paul would be devastating.

Re: Jake Paul v Mike Tyson OFFICIAL July AT & T stadium 80,000 capacity!
If Tyson comes in the shape he did against Roy Jones he will not carry Paul. He will wipe him out.

Re: Jake Paul v Mike Tyson OFFICIAL July AT & T stadium 80,000 capacity!
Tyson will gas early and Paul will register the win.
I have spoken

Anyway,I noticed the Tyson training videos have gone quiet. I wasn’t sure of the authenticity of them anyway. One day he would have a beard, next day he’s clean shaven, next day he’s got a beard!

Re: Jake Paul v Mike Tyson OFFICIAL July AT & T stadium 80,000 capacity!
This summer's meeting between YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul and former world champion Mike Tyson has been officially sanctioned as a professional fight.
It means the outcome of the bout, which is scheduled to take place in Texas on 20 July, will appear on both their records.
However the fight will have certain conditions, including that the contest can only be eight, two-minute rounds and 14oz gloves must be worn, rather than 10oz.
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation said it has conducted a review of Paul and Tyson, evaluating the records to date of both men as well as their medical history before approving the pro fight with "certain waivers".
"The safety of the contestants competing in the ring or the octagon is always the primary concern," the TDLR said.
Tyson, who will be 58 at the time of the fight and whose professional career ended in 2005, most recently competed in an exhibition bout in 2020 and will turn 58 three weeks before facing Paul.
Paul, meanwhile, beat Ryan Bourland in his 10th professional fight in March.
"Mike Tyson and Jake Paul signed on to fight each other with the desire to do so in a sanctioned professional fight that would have a definitive outcome," Nakisa Bidarian of MVP Promotions said.
Tyson was the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles in 1987 but his reign as unified champion came to a shock end in 1990 as he was beaten by Buster Douglas in one of the biggest upsets in boxing history.
Although he briefly regained the WBA and WBC titles in 1996, he then suffered back-to-back defeats to Evander Holyfield - the second ending as Tyson was disqualified for biting part of Holyfield's ear off.
Tyson's legal issues have included a rape conviction in 1992, for which he served three years of a six-year prison sentence, and in 1999 he served a third of a 12-month sentence for a road rage assault.
He got back into shape to play his part in an exhibition bout with fellow former world champion Roy Jones Jr in 2020, and his fight with Paul will take place in Arlington's AT&T Stadium, home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, which has a seating capacity of 80,000.
Paul has won nine of his 10 fights, mostly against ex-UFC fighters, with his solitary defeat coming against British boxer Tommy Fury in February 2023.

Re: Jake Paul v Mike Tyson OFFICIAL July AT & T stadium 80,000 capacity!
Tyson is putting in sacrifices which include giving up sex and smoking weed.
He said: "Six weeks I haven't gotten high or had sex."
Asked why, he explained: "Discipline. You know discipline, doing what you love to do, what you love to do, doing what you hate to do but doing it like you love it.
"You know, I hate not being able to smoke, I'm doing it like I love it. I hate not not being able to sleep with my wife but I'm doing it like I love it."

Re: Jake Paul v Mike Tyson OFFICIAL July AT & T stadium 80,000 capacity!
I bet it won't even fill half of this stadium. Maybe 1/4ths... no more. No one really would want to pay to see an oddity that means nothing. Especially Tyson who, while still has drawing power, is really old news and Paul who, while he has a large following on social media, really does not engender any type of feeling that he is a "must see" type of talent. PPV's will be good, however...But no one is going out of their way to the stadium to see this.

Darren Till vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is a done deal for the undercard of Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson.

I don’t think there is any PPV is there? Isn’t it going out on Netflix?

I thought that was why Netflix and Amazon have gone into boxing because of PPV and the extra revenue it brings.

Re: Jake Paul v Mike Tyson OFFICIAL July AT & T stadium 80,000 capacity!
i think netflixs is getting into these live events to gain a foothold & increase their subscribers base, they have a few live events each month. amazon doesn't have any finacial burden for the pbc shows as i understand it. the production costs have to be met by pbc. amazon is just the broadcaster

Re: Jake Paul v Mike Tyson OFFICIAL July AT & T stadium 80,000 capacity!
Postponed, hopefully indefinitely. There is a Santa clause. I'm sure Jake can still dig up some cadaver and fit them for trunks if want to keep the date.

The boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has a new date.
After the scheduled July 20 fight between the YouTuber-turned-prizefighter and the former heavyweight champion was postponed because of Tyson's medical issues, the fight has been rescheduled for Nov. 15 at AT&T Stadium.
The highly anticipated rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano
