Best One Punch KO Of The Decade

Re: Best One Punch KO Of The Decade
@Master it didn't make my short list and I didn't make an option for other so you'll have to pick your second favorite ;)
Re: Best One Punch KO Of The Decade
Different types, pure devastation and surprise Martinez planking Williams for me. Historical and most satisfying Marquez ko Manny, most inevitable and anti climactic Canelo Khan, truth is when you start digging over a decade you can find so many more spectacular that never make the news.

I did not see that list, Ok I will have to research them.
Re: Best One Punch KO Of The Decade
The one that really shocked me was Sergio Martinez over Paul Williams. Williams had shown a rock solid chin earlier in his career and then out of nowhere BOOM and he didn't move for a very long time.
Pac-Hatton and JMM-Pac are tied for 2nd IMO.
Re: Best One Punch KO Of The Decade
They were all great KO's but the magnitude of JMM knocking out Pac Man was the biggest in terms of history and relevance.
It also gave Floyd the courage to take the fight with Manny. ;)

I was gonna pick that, but the Pac v Hatton KO was a little more. I thin JMM was on the PEDS and he never gave Pac the rematch, and Pac did not have to give him a rematch 3 TIMES OVER! JMM literally fought until he won WHILE he was on PEDS.
But Pac v Hatton CHANGED the Welterweight division. At that time you could not longer have anymore "what if's".... Floyd beat Hatton, and then Pac beat Hatton worse. Floyd beat Oscar, and then Pac beat Oscar worse. This is what set the stage for the biggest fight in our generation.

No it did not.
JMM ruined the biggest fight in our generation with that brutal knock out.

Only in your perception. If the Pac/JMM KO had never happened, do you think the Floyd/Pac result would've been any different?
I'm giving you an opportunity to get your daily Floyd post in early to keep your record going. 😄
The result would have been the same but that KO showed that Manny was not the same force that he was a few years earlier.

You don’t think Manny would on PEDs?
Re: Best One Punch KO Of The Decade
Canelo's KO of both Kirkland and Khan have to be up there.
Re: Best One Punch KO Of The Decade
Gamboa KTFOd somebody very impressively a few years back. It was on HBO, can't remember who. In big fights it's either Manny sparking Hatton or getting sparked by JMM.

You're god damn right they're both up there! I would've put both on the list but people would only cry and accuse me of sucking off Canelo

and it would be true. ;D
Re: Best One Punch KO Of The Decade
Do I think Pac was on PEDs? Probably. But we have a stronger feeling that JMM was on PEDs.

Pacquiao started at light-flyweight and fought as high as light-middleweight without ever putting on an ounce of fat! That’s around 50lbs he gained throughout his career and not only did he stay shedded but he actually gained punch power. There’s no doubt in my mind that he was using some sort of illegal substance and that was pretty much confirmed when he refused to take the test to fight Mayweather.

I wouldn't be surprised at either using HGH or steroids
Re: Best One Punch KO Of The Decade
had it as a tie between Martinez of Williams and Marquez of Pac... Bother were planned in the gym and executed in the ring. Both opponents were jelly afterwards.
I'm going to edge to Martinez strictly based on the fact that he wasn't even looking when he threw the shot. The pop sound and that he knew automatically when it happened and began walking away before Williams even touched the ground.
Pac walking into the marquez also happened to coincidental force multiplier for Marquez. Still so satisfying though.
Re: Best One Punch KO Of The Decade
Martinez over Williams for me. All listed were sweet tho.
