If Floyd loses to Ricky Hatton, I'm never watching boxing ever again.

First of all, there's too many European champs to begin with.

I just can't tolerate our only American hope losing to someone that says "mate."

Floyd should make easy work of this over-hyped "C" class bum.

I agree that PBF should win this fight. But with Floyd at 147, his feet aren't nearly as quick, and that's what he needs against Hatton. He needs to be able to pop in, land a few, and get out of the way. If PBF loses... well damn... the Euros are taking over boxing.

No, you can't say Floyd doesn't have this or that because he only fought 2 fights at 147 and we can't really judge him just yet.

Plus, Floyd trains differently for every opponent that he fights. Look at the Zab fight, Floyd wasn't trying to display his speed or power. He understood it was about accumulation of punches and the accuracy that was going to beat Zab Judah. He wore Zab down with body shots and quick punches to the face. Floyd was the one being the aggressor; not zab.

But guess what Ricky is going to be the aggressor and there's no need for Floyd to lead. Thus he will train differently. He will use his legs more. Floyd is the smartest fighter and he knows what he is doing.

I almost died hearing "mate" five times in one paragraph. Don't you know there is a 2 "mate" per paragraph limit?

Actually, out of all the European champs I give Ricky Hatton the most credit because he actually is willing to come to America and establish himself, unlike most Euros who want to stay in their backyard and never come out to play.

But you're right Ricky Hatton is going to beat up Floyd's glove with his head.

i wouldn't go so far as to write Hatton off as c-rated....i believe Hatton-PBF is PEP-SADDLER in the making....if the fight goes according to the likely style matchup....

ALso I only see hatton winning one way..Hatton could eek out an extremely close decision based off holding and hitting....

But PBF could beat hatton in several ways....Late ref stoppage, one-sided decision, close-decision, or late corner stoppage, or cut accumlation.....
