I dont get BoxRec because Hatton says he wants the winner of Castillo v Corrales
For me Castillo KO's Cotto :o
I think it could happen their both promoted by Arum, and it would sell preety well PR vs Mexico rivalry. I think Cotto is much bigger and Castillo has lost on TKo's to cuts, and Cotto has busted up alot of his opponents faces and won on cuts. It would be a great fight and it wont go the distance, I see Cotto winning by tko.
Its going to be a great back and forth battle. JLC has a great chin and I think Cotto's is good. Which might be the difference in the fight. Neither fighter likes to back down so its going to be to the center of the ring and lets see who falls first. My pick is Castillo by late (T)KO.
Castillo would be to much for Cotto.
i actually think cotto is one of the few fighters who will beat jlc by tko
castillo has too much heart and is almost a ring veteran
after being in battles with the likes of corrales and seing his power in that match (although he last)
i believe Cotto would be up against too much. Castillo can bang with both hands has a good chin, and a strong mexican fanbase.
i think cotto will show his best performance ever against jlc
cause hes gonna need it and im sure he can
I think the reasoning behind the match up is on the presumption that JLC will have been through 3 wars with corrales by then and then be going up in weight. I dont think Castillo will really have a tough time with Corrales the 3rd time around and may be fresher than everyone expects.
everyone has gone really quiet about cotto on this site lately. he needs to do someting to keep us all interested. he has the ability.
Tough guys... I hope Cotto show us everything that he has.
I think cotto will win it by late KO.
man cotto is garbage , and his chin is suspect... Castillo is one of my favorite boxers. probably the only person to damn near beat PBF... plus he made corrales look like shit in both fights in my opinion...
castillo vs Cotto ... ???
CAstillo by late round TKO...
Ok NEWSFLASH people JLC weighed too much for 135, Miguel can weigh damn near 160 for fights at 140...JLC is getting older and if he crumbles to Chico's power Cotto will wreck himQuote:

I need to see how hatton looks in this next fight to sway my thoughts about him going up against Miguel (smash your shoulder in 10 pieces) Cotto!
Jeez did you forget to take your medication today.... :lickish:Quote:

And whats English gotto do with saying Cotto is good?!
And why so much anger? ;D
cOTTO'S my boy however,he is not in P4P top 10 YET.If he beats Castillo then yeah and he does have a bright bright future ahead of him. He has the power in the body shots to slow Castillo, and as big as JLS is Cotto is that much bigger! Also, people, this fight is definitely taking place, both are promoted by Arum and it will be Cotto's last fight@140,Castillo's first and he will probably clean out the division when Cotto moves up.Quote:

Cotto does have a chin,he was fighting someone who had KOed 26 of 28 opponents, was severly weight drained and had a busted ear drum and STILL did not go down legitimately,he was pushed and he came back with better shots at the end of the round so his chin is actually quite good. Corely hit him on the temple,Corley also wobbled PBF,does that mean he has a bad chin? Miguel has fought unbeaten power punchers,ex champs and soon unbeaten movers(Malignaggi)He is still young and to date, his resume is very good for his age AND he is fighting JLC@ the end of the year so those criticisms will end....Quote:

shane mosley fought Cruz, who knocked out all of his opponents and shane mosley got hit wit some big shots , and did shane go down ???? naw ... cotto was dropped
so there is no excuse for having a weak chin,
BOTTOM he cannot take a punch ... and he is deinitely not a P4P champion...
Instead of trying to get yourself banned with inflamtory crap...please just go to some other site...we don't need this shat here.Quote:

Cotto has fought alot of top 10 contenders and won, he was rocked by torres but came back to win by ko, how many fighters have been knocked down and hurt, and come back to win in impressive fashion. he has beaten maussa a guy Hatton is praised for beating, Hatton knocked him out Cotto embarrased him. He is only like 25 years old and 26 fights in he is a young champ moving up, how can you say with his amature back round and olympian at that, so early in his carrer that he is garbage. He will be an elite fighter some day.
This is the second CC from me to you in 2 days!! Keep making statements and your ass will be rolling in Cool Clicks!! ;DQuote:

Cotto has his big chance on 11/11
and i really feel confident about him showing his worth
you never know for sure so we will found out
i hope it will be a great fight
and he will be able to showcase why he gets so much props from alot of people
if he beats castillo i think he will beat a lot more big names
hes young still has time to improve some flaws
and he has got the potential to be great
Well, after the JLC fight, when moves to 147,he could and probably will fight PBF(probably after a few years?) Hatton and MARGARITO!!! mY 2 FAVES!!!?!?!?!
Thanks man! :) I think Cotto vs Hatton will be huge! evryone wants to see that!Quote:

ok yeah he has a lot of fans but I feel like he has fought quality opponents. The fight he got dropped in was against torres who was unbeaten at the time. Obviously there are some people out there hating on cotto and you can make a case for him not in the top 5. That's my personal opinion. Who's your top 5?
mE??Quote:
