Probably sell majorly, but would be terrible, Tysons not the man he was and neither is Mesi
Why is Mesi even fighting Tyson could possibly kill him if he hit him bang on.......
why is Tyson even fighting ???
Tyson is retired, he isn't coming back nor would i want to see him back
WTF?!?!?!??!??!?!??!??!?!?!???!?!?!??!??!??!?!?!?! ?!!??!?!
??? ??? ???
>:mad :( :o ??? :-\
Shelly Finkel, Tyson’s adviser, has said that she is 80% sure that the fight will happen ??? ??? ???
I hope to god this doesnt happen.
That'll be a hard fight to watch.
try being in it mate ;D
I'll bet! Do u think Mesi would win? I do.Quote:

HOWARD FINKLE = THE MAN
yeah i think mesi would win
but dont think it would really make a difference
since they both will never achieve anything with a win
Its a pure money bout. Neither fighter has anything at stake. Tyson still needs to pay off the IRS and Mesi knows his fighting oppotunities are limited because of his previous medical condition.
I thought Tyson was done. I wonder if he's broke again. As a friend of mine said, Tyson is unlikely to stop doing foolish, self-indulgent things until he's dead. In a recent interview he already said something like "The testosterone's gone. I wish I never even knew iron Mike" referring to himself. Maybe we are better off just not paying attention anymore.
Selley Finkel is the ugliest woman I've ever seen. http://www.lvrj.com/lvrj_home/1998/S...tos/finkel.jpg
That is a Mad matchup for Mesi. Tyson usually does well against that style of fighter. not a fight i want to see
Tyson will never fight again.
it doesn't really matter who wins.
im a big fan of tyson and i personally think his repeated comeback attempts are a waste of time and money. I also find them sad to watch as it only remains me of what a fighter he was back in the 80s.
Would he still even draw a large crowd???
Tyson's legend is already secured but anymore defeats at the hands of no hopers such as McBride will seriously damage it.
If he's looking for money then maybe he should turn his hand at promoting, or refereeing...lol
Heh heh heh.Quote:

Thomas Gerbasi of MaxBoxing.com by way of ESPN has written a piece on Joe Mesi, a former heavyweight who has been out of the ring for the last two years battling a medical suspension that was finally lifted this past December. Mesi’s respite was the result of injuries suffered in a win over Vassiliy Jirov in March 2004. The damage included a subdural hematoma: uncontrolled bleeding from the brain. Mesi is currently scheduled to fight Ron Bellamy in Puerto Rico this Saturday.
In even bigger news involving Mesi, Thomas Hauser of SecondsOut.com is reporting that Mesi’s camp is in negotiations with Mike Tyson’s peeps concerning a possible bout at Madison Square Garden in December. Shelly Finkel, Tyson’s adviser, has said that she is 80% sure that the fight will happen.
Whatever SHE-MALE...you can edit all you want...we know what's up! ;) ;D :-*Quote:

no way tyson tries to comeback again.....have we all forgotten the abysmal mcbride fight....
that was a tough one to watch!!! :-\
THE FINK! Haha didn't they turn him into a pervert or something :-\
Anyways, I have absolutely NO interest in this fight but I know ESPN will ::**
If Tyson ever does come back, he best fight some of those bums on ESPN.
Can't believe that anyone would ever offer Tyson money to fight anymore.
Tysons head has not been in boxing in 10+years.
tyson has to get him early and expose mesi's chin--but mesi can box and all he has to do is box for 3 or 4 rds and mike is done---but joe was real rusty last time out---he could be open for a homerun shot from mike.........
the one reason why i discredit that artricle is it refeers to shelly finkle as a "she"
...shelly finkle (tysons manager) is very much a "he".... :-\
I don't see Iron Mike coming back and I hope he does not but hey,if he's having money problems, then it could happen. I worry for Messi though, and Tyson most likely still has the power to hurt.... :-\ I hope this fight does not come off!
I want to agree...but this Tyson Mesi mess was being thrown around last year by HBO.Quote:

If Tyson really needs money, all he needs to do is get in shape and try to beat Mesi inside of 3 or 4 rounds. Then, if this doesn't work, he can just bite the fuck out of him. :biting:

If thats really the Two of them stood side by side then I change my opinion and say Mike could win, Mesi is strong and has ok power but has a week defence and likes to get stuck in.
I didnt realise that hes the same height as Mike, itd be interesting to see what Mike could do witha same size fighter
