I hope tito comes back, he is a great fighter with a few good fights left in him
yea tito needs to come back and only fight opponets who compliment his style ... like ... delahoya....
i would love to finally see shane mosley vs tito trinidad...
OR
i wouldnt mind seeing trinidad vs mayorga at 147... i think mayorga would have a better chance at winning ...
**This post has been modified. No need for that mess. Okay? Thanks.
i dont think mayorga showed anything v. tito the first fight to warrant a second. tito v odlh is where the $ is at.
MAYORGA SHOWED HE COULD TAKE A PUNCH
THEY WERE AT 154 POUNDS , SO MAYORGA WAS CARRYING AROUND A LOT OF WEIGHT , 2ND FIGHT MAYORGA HAD WITH FOREST HE WAS ABLE TO BANG WITH HIM ALL 12 ROUNDS AT A FAST PACE AND THAT WAS AT 147... YOU THROW TRINIDAD AND MAYORGA AT 147 , MAYORGA WOULD HAVE A BETTER CHANCE , JUST MY OPINION ...
I would like to see tito stay retired and keep his dignity and memery, cant stand to see another hall of famer fight on or come out of retirement for the last pay check and lose. PLease stay there tito you the man!

I think if Oscar beats Mayorga, he'd be more likely to face Trinidad than PBF. It would be a good last match for him. It would be kinda funny to happen like that because PBF would be left out in the cold.
if he does come back then i thats the only fight I hope he takes, means floyd will av to fight big tony or little ricky!
i think both tito and floyd are easy fights for DLH...............
yes, de la hoya beat a opponent similar to PBF in Pernell Withaker. so he would not get so much troble from PBF. Floyd is just meeting washed up fighters nowadays.
I really don't see how you can think ODH can beat PBF just because he beat sweet pea, ODH did that back in his prime and he's not the fighter he once was. But that would be funny if ODH fights Tito next because that would leave PBF with no other options but tony or hatton unless he fights judah again but besides them there really isn't anyone out there.
I see it because DLH would be the biggest and toughest opponent for PBF. But i would rather like to see PBF fight Hatton.
At what weight? If when Oscar beat Mayorga at 154lb for the WBC he surely isn't going to move back up to 160? he said himself that weight was to high for him.
You have to wonder if Tito can even make 154 anymore? I guess it doesn't matter if it is at a catch weight when we're talking $20+ mil :o
At junior middle would best suit de la hoya against PBF. A catch weight at 157 or so would be reasonable for both fighters. And Tito should not put so much weight on himself for fight time. against Wright he seemed to put on about 8-10 pounds after weigh in like against Mayorga. Against a faster opponent it just makes him slower.
Tito don't come back. Jermain Taylor would destroy you thats reason enough to keep it up
Like I said, jabs are apart of Tito's diet and Taylor would serve them all night long.Quote:

I'd like to see tito fight de la hoya again. De la hoya deserves a rematch and they both would make a lot of money. I'd like to see tito fight shane mosley just to know tito fought all the top guys in this era. Tito is on the downside but there are at least two real good fights left in him.
What about a rematch with Vargas? Mosely is still damn fast but when he started to slow down Vargas was coming on strong.
Although Oscar deserves the rematch more than anyone.
Good point. Why would he come out of retirement to fight Mayorga instead of fithing ODLH.Quote:

Wow, a comparison of "sweet pea" to "Pretty Boy"? Nope, not even close. PBF is PSPW(looks like a new video game huh?) x2. Delahoya is getting up there too. Tito has been washed up for years...should stay retired...his body is way older than his mind...that is a very bad combination..The KO by Hopkins showed you that.
Mayweather isn't close to Sweet Pea at Lightweight or Welterweight or Junior Welterweight ;)
Pernell was way more dominant in his prime than Mayweather is now. And do you mean Tito was washed up before Hopkins? He looked like he didn´t use his footwork against Hopkins ( Maybe something mental ), but against mayorga he could move very well. Yes, Mayorga is smaller, but if Tito was washed up he would have stood straight in front and just bang.Quote:

The past always looks better than the present in boxing for some reason.. I really enjoyed watching "sweet pea" fight ...i thought he was a great fighter.... I think PBF has already eclipsed SP in the fighting category...and I think TITO's body had so many miles on it from previous fights before hopkins..the Sweet pea fight, De La Hoya, Reid, and Vargas..that is a world class fight schedule and then you fight Hopkins?...to many wars on that young/old bodyQuote:
