Watch it in slomo and you will see that it didn't land flush. It was a good punch that was a little off, and it didn't hurt ODH to much.Quote:

Mayorga's best punch, didn't have ODH "out on his feet" he backed up, then attacked again like nothing had happened
your dumber than mayorga if u thought Oscar was out on his feet , oscar has one of the best chins in boxing.
I got to agree with Lyle and co here, the punch 'buzzed' him, but he was hardly 'out on his feet' ;)
i've already watched it three times..he was out...yeah recovered, because mayorga didn't throw anything else...he was clearly gone for those ten or twelve seconds and had mayorga threw some more punches delahoya probably would have fallen...but again before it even gets started I'm not a mayorga fan trying to make something out of nothing(I.e. Judah fans)...i just wanted to see if anyone else noticed it...
Again before it gets started...I picked Oscar to stop this guy...
I just wanted to see if anyone else saw the uppercut and the damage it did to Oscar....
yes. Thats why I said I would worry for him if he fought Mayweather.
Mayweather is gonna be hard to beat but maybe ODH or Mosley have better shots at him than I thought. 1 thing for sure, Floyd won't be able to KO Oscar!
It was a good uppercut, but nothing more. Mayorga did not come in as hungry or in the kind of shape he promised. Nor did he train, or listen, or something, I mean shat how could he not know that left hook was coming? I dunno...this is just a horrible loss...and hurts me pretty bad. Been a tough year for me with Jones losing again to Tarver, Lacy gettin dominated, Peter bein outboxed by Wlad, Toney bein flat, and Judah losing to Maywhether. This though, was just a MAJOR DISAPOINTMENT. Mayorga should really consider hangin them up or maybe seeking one last fight with Vargas...I dunno. Just sad... :(
Thats right because he will roll right over Vargas hey! :cwm29: :cwm27:Quote:

I dunno anymore...that was a horrible and embarassing loss, I mean, he barely did any better than Gatti and Yory Boy, and thats just horrible...Quote:

Those are the fights that make a person sad. ODLH-Mayorga was as it should be. Wlad-Peter ditto; Peter is under-skilled. Mayweather-Judah was good and proper. Jones-Tarver ... yeah, it was sad to see that one repeated but not the heartbreak that Hopkins-Taylor was. Lacy's loss - it is hard to be sad about something that is so definitely right. He was so out-classed that it would have been a farce and not "moved boxing forward" (ask Starr what that means, I dunno) had Lacy somehow got that victory.
There's plenty to be sad about, but ... you're sad for all the wrong reasons, bro!
Lacy Calzaghe would have moved boxing forward no matter who won. it was a fight to move boxing forward. Like Mayweather Margarito would be. Mayweather Delahoya, at the end of the fight if Mayweather wins, he is right in the same situation he was in after beating Judah, and it wouldn't do a thing for the Welterweight division would it? ;) not like Calzaghe Lacy did for the Super Middleweight one ;)
uppercut didn't land on the chin, it backed him up but he definetly wouldn't of gone down
It was a good uppercut like I said, Mayorga also landed a couple hurtful overhand rights, but unlike in the Tito fight, he earned no Moral Victory last night. There was no badge of honor, no knockdown, no nothing, only a disheartening ass whipping at the hands of the "Golden Boy". That is what hurts, there is little if nothing to snatch from the rubble, it was just a bad loss, nothing more.
Mayorga sucks
You talk so much shit.....Quote:

Oh HI HULK...there you are. Mayorga was hungry but you people just don't get it. It's OSCAR not any weak ass fighter!! For every one punch Mayorga landed, Oscar would land 10!!! ...or so it seemed. It's pretty amazing he's still fast at 33. Where are you Oscar haters now????????????????? ;D
Mayorga is HORRIBLE when it comes to defense. What's the point in being a great puncher if you'll get hit just as hard or even harder?? ???
Mayorga is much bigger than pbf and hits huch harder. But think about how pbf would take oscars left hook.Quote:

Oscars defence looked near perfection but flloyds is superb also
Ffloyd is quicker than oscar
Its just an amazing match up
I go oscar because he has way more power than he is credited for and flloyd wouldnt knock oscar out....

Heh heh heh. Seriously though...welcome to the forum.
By the way about the uppercut, our commentators after it said...
"Mayorga wont like this, he landed his biggest uppercut, and ODLH walked through it and looked straight back into mayorgas eyes......"
He was pushed back and stunned for like 2 seconds, then got back on with his clinic..... 8)
now we actually take wht the commentators say...last week it was oh the commentators are sucking raheems balls...were they not doing the same thing with oscar...Quote:

Did I see Mayorga's uppercut? No, he doesn't have one. He looks very uncoordinated when he punches. Tough guy, with no style.
it looked monster at first....I couldn't believe ODLH was still standing...as for Mayorga not going for the kill, who knows, maybe he was thinking about the first and second rounds an wasn't quite ready to throw bombs with ODLH because he might have been still recovering himself....Quote:

Well it was a good shot and it did hurt Oscar for sure, contrary to what some folks may have you believe. But it was near the end of the round so Mayorga didn't really have time to go for the kill...he looked a little winded by then anyway...fukin 172 lbs, real smart bro.Quote:
