THAT WILL BE A CLASH
Not any time soon
morales has until may 20 to confirm his rubbermatch with pacquiao. if it doesn't push through then pac is free to negotiate with barrera for a fight late this year, probably in november. if morales-pac3 happens, then we'll see the mp-mab rematch next year.
id rather see MAB vs PAC instead ERIK is done with. hes a legend and all but PAC destroyed him already. then ill hook up with a stadium full of fine pinays!
This fight, unfortunately for us fight fans, may never happen because Barrera is obviously scared to death that he willget KO'd again. Once his May 20 date with Chavez was scratched, why didn't he reach out to Pac then for the rematch? No. Instead he calls on Rocky Juarez.
Unlike my boy Morales who says the ONLY fight he wants is Pacquiao.
Pacquaoi would destroy Barerra too.Quote:

you maybe right about barrera avoiding pacquiao but i think this time he really want to face pac again for that last big payday. i admire morales for wanting to fight pac so soon but i think it's a mistake. besides, 3 fights with pacquiao out of morales' last 4 is getting kinda old.Quote:

Barrera has not offered or even publicly uttered for a rematch UNTIL HE KNEW PAC WAS FORCED
INTO A REMATCH WITH MORALES.
:detective:
I agree. MAB is only getting older, and Pac is only getting better. The window of oppurtunity of MAB having a chance at redeeming himself is almost closed.Quote:

I dont see anyone in that weight class being able to win over Pac man. He is just too strong. I used to think that MAB would. If he is trying to avoid it and heis forced into it, he may have already lost before stepping in the ring. If he is scared he will loose because he will try only to make it to the last bell just like my boy RJJ did against Tarver.
CC man! Pac is a genetic work of art! Speed more than strength though. And yes, MAB and RJJ had or has what it takes, but both lost or will lose it because they lost it before they ever entered the ring mentally. (If that makes sense.)Quote:

Larios might stand more chance against Pac than Morales . This is cuz Pac will be undermotivated in Manilla and expecting an easy night . Weve seen the Pacman get badly k.o'd before by obodies but against Morales its the decider and he'l be better prepeared against the bigger name and more faded fighter .
I still think Pac beats em both though but Barrera beats the lot of em
MAB-legendary,yes,can he beat Pacman, doubtful.Yeah he had a bad night against Pac the first time and all those excuses etc but casn he hold Pac off? I doubt it. MAB-EM should be 1-1 with one even, the third fight was clearly a draw. EM needs a tune yps I agree, but remember,he has BEATEN Pac,something MAB may never do. I LOVE MAB but lost ALOT of respect for him over how he handled this Pac situation,he had 3 years to ask for a rematch but only called out Pac AFTER he said h was fighting Larios AND EM in DEC. That is lame and not even the biggest MAB fan can justify that.
3rd fight clearly a draw ? Barrera won all 3 . the 3rd probably being the clearest win .Morales is past it now but he was past it when he 1st met Pac and he skoled him then . Imagine what a prime Barrera would do . We wouldnt have to imagine if Pac accepted the offer
Barrera called him out but Pacs too intent on going over old ground with a 3rd fight with Erik . Its overkill IMO . Pac could have fought Barrera in the interim if he wanted cuz its not in his contract to fight Larios . Barrera fought Juarez instead. Only idiots would call Barrera chicken after all the great wins he's had
Not really,he's had 3 years to ask for a rematch, why ask Pac when he's busy and why the heck is Pac going to fight MAB,Larios and then EM. There was always going to be a third EM fight after the second one if Pac won,EVERYONE knew that!
To say MAB won all 3 clearly is nuthugging of the highest order ;D MAB won the first(em GOT IT),lOST THE SECOND(mORALES WON THAT clearly)but got the decision and the third was called a draw by US and UK commentators sooooooooo ::**
True that,MAB in his prime would take Pac to war and IMO win but that's the point,he is no longer in his prime therefore Pac would most likely win.
Id make the suggestion that only a morales nut hugger would say it was a draw when everyone knows Barrera deserved the trilogy .Quote:

Ive seen flukes b4 and that was 1 of them . You have your opinion , il have mine and we'l see whos right ;)
i can see pac man being too quick for barrera again. if barrera really wanted that fight it would have happened by now.

EM was not fading,he lost to Raheem who can make anyone look ugly with his style, the third MAB fght was a draw and he beat Pac...PAC fought and I believe lost to JMM,fought EM twice and now Larios as a tune up?!!? That is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar superior to anyone who MAB has fought since EM!Quote:

It wouldn't of mattered if he'd called out Pac then the fight wouldn't happen at that short of notice, anyway, and "your boy" was already in talks with Pacs team about the rubber match for later on in the year.Quote:

Either way it goes, I dont see why pac is fighting Larios who is smaller , why really fight someone who is smaller and coming up in weight. Not only that but Larios just lost. But yes I do agree the Barrara fight with pac should have already happened, and I dont think there is anyone in that division aside from MAB and EM who can beat Pac and they would really have to dig deep in order to win because pac never seems to get tired, that man is a beast.
Youd agree that Barry mguigan is our moist repsetced expert and he gave all 3 to Barrera . What do you mean no one else ? How can you ( a pac /morales fan ) speak for everyone else in the world . Its like me claiming to be a pac supporter but admitting he has no talent and has been ko'd by bumsQuote:

So no one cares about unifying titles now ::**Quote:

Again you are trying to speak for everyone but as soon as pac beat morales, sky sports put their rankings up and barrera was still at the top and pac was behind himQuote:
Who does everyone see as the number 1 man in the division right now? Pac
and lost to them . Terrencampo knocked him out . some other bum knocked him out . sanchez was robbed but came away with a nc. marquez skooled him and was robbed . a faded morales beat himQuote:
...why....because he has fought the best.
Have a look at boxer rec . i think youl find it wasnt a draw . So you think Erik is as good now as hes ever been ? ;DQuote:
EM was not fading,he lost to Raheem who can make anyone look ugly with his style, the third MAB fght was a draw
Barreras fought a mandatory and a rival world champ . an attempt to move up to win a title at a 4th weight never happend through injury . Thats far more impressive than losing to Morales and jmm and fighting 3k batteryQuote:

I agree pacs had 3 years to make a rematch but hed rather fight Erik insteadQuote:
Come on man....he has had 3 years to make the rematch!
Hahah thank you, and Pacman will win because at this point he cannot be stoppedQuote:

??? Game's got some strange logic, Barrera gets mugged by Pac but its Pac who should be begging for a rematch(something he's been doing since the 1st fight). :P :o
I also dont know why people think that Larios is ganna be a walk in the park for pac, cuz frankly i think this fight has the making of an upset. While pacs still doing commercials, Larios has been training for the fight of his life. Dont know where people get the impression that Larios is the smaller guy when Larios(5'8 ) is even bigger than Morales(5'7) and moving up will only benifit him. Larios has a good chin, most of his TKO were caused by cuts(something common to weight drained fighters) and hes also fast and a good mover. so dont be surprised if in fight night you'll see a stronger Larios than his last fight with Vasquez. 8)
No the onus is on the guy to accept the offer when its made . If Pac is lining up other fighters what do you want Barrera to do . Jump into the ring and fight perhaps ?Quote:

Bad analogy,Lewis got hit by 1 lucky punch, how many did Pac hit MAB with? Like Isa di,I am a big fan of Mab but even the biggest fan has to acknowledge that he has had ample oppertunity to ask for a rematch and failed to do so and the longer it takes to make it,the slimmer his chances get as it seems Pac is getting stronger and stronger.
Oh and sorry but earlier you said Wayne Mcullogh said MAB won all against EM,I wonder why he said that? Also,I would not listen to a guy who has taken as many poundings as he has!
The anaolgy im making is that Rahman like Pac were big underdogs who had been knocked out previously but had the fortune of facing an under prepared champ . I wasnt refering the specific tactical battle itself .Quote:

Btw read my post again , ive never mentioned Wayne Mculough
