He could KO B-Hop in the first round and his legacy would not be touched.
This match is RETARTED >:mad >:mad >:mad
it is a very odd fight, b hop in his 40's jumping up 2 divisions to fight an imbecile who thinks he's a legend because he beat 2 guys in a division....2 guys the wrong end of 30 at that....
if he beats hopkins it wont speak much to me because b hop is fighting way beyond his normal weight and he is so old....
still, i realistically think b hop can beat tarver, thats how much i rate tarver....
Who resoured about this match ??? Was it ever good? it is Hopkins' last fight so it should be seen.Quote:

he already tried calling out tyson after all!! ;DQuote:

if he beat Roy between the James Toney fight and the Clinton Woods fight then id say he was a legend killer.
Legend Killer my ass.
Tarver you beat a faded roy jones who lost all his confidence after his first KO loss.
Sly Stallone will teach you a trick or two
Bhop is going to beat him. Believe me.....;
HEY!!! HEY!!!!....I have to stand up for the champ here!!!!!....Tarver has beaten Jones..Harding...Johnson...ummm...Roy....Did I say Harding????.....well anyhow....Quote:

I think Tarver should come in wearing the same trunks he wore for his part in Rocky 6.
Lets chronicle Tarver's career recently...
He struggled against an old RJJ and lost a decision. Got lucky against an old RJJ and chased after an old RJJ who at times hurt him but was too scared to finish... he fought Rocky Balboa... he was considering fighting Tyson (a washed up fighter who quit because he could not knock out a journey man) and now he's fighting a man on the plus side of 40 who's 2 divisions out of his water...
Tarver is a legend killer for sure... ::**
And you remember when Roy had called out Tyson and Tarver was bashing Roy for calling out Tyson saying it's obvious why, because he's not the same Mike Tyson. This was the Mike Tyson right after he knocked out Ettienne that Roy wanted to fight. And Tarver was bashing him.
Once Tyson goes down to McBride, Tarver wants a piece of him ??? Where's the logic ??? At least it would have been a challenge for Roy if that fight had happened. Tarver should be thanking Roy, Roy could have never ever rematched him and Tarver would never have sold another arena again.
The only legend Tarver killed is the one that says he's been off the pipe all these years. How else could he explain such a ridiculous statement.
:coolclick: Agreed. Heh heh heh.Quote:

He should be happy even if he gets this title.Quote:

Just like previously stated, Tarver lost, got lucky, and fought a ghost.
He lost against Glencoffe Johnson, then won totally exhausted.
I'm telling you guys, Bernard Hopkins is just the guy to beat him for sure because Hopkins will run him into the ground in 10,11, and 12 with his superior stamina.
I can't wait till June 10th.
:coolclick: i too expect b hop to come on strong in the later rounds....it might be a bit cat and mouse for the first 6, but tarver will pursue b hop, expend energy and then when it comes to the big rounds tarver will find he lacks stamina as b hop strats to really lay on the counters and his big right...Quote:

Im gonna go with B too, but purely because i like him and cant stand Tarver. Though logically both are good fighters Tarver is bigger and stronger so he had an edge. B is a career middleweight but at 41 a weight gain could help him or work against him. Hops best chance is pull all of the stops and use his veteran savvy moves and defence to get him to a decision win over the bigger TarverQuote:
