This happened to me today I need your help SERIOUSLY!!!!!!

Today I did my daily jog and I came across two black big asss ferocious dogs mad dogging me across the street. I stopped jogging instantly and one of the two dogs started to run towards me barking in a ferocious manner while the other mad dogged me from across the street. To be honest I was scared as HELL. Cuz as a youngin ive been attacked by big asss dogs before. It was truly traumatic. Anyway so one of the big asss black dogs was charging at me full speed and I dont care who you are even Carl Lewis couldnt out run this beast. so I just stood still like a pussssss and it ended up sniffing me aggressively to the point where I knew it was going to just take a huge asss bite of my leg. It sniffed my for about a good 30seconds then it ran back to the other dog.

I did not know what the F to do? But it seemed like if the dog didnt like what he smelled he was gonna start attacking me.

My question is this and im SERIOUS. What is the proper thing to do in this situation??? Like how do you make it clear to this wild beasts that you are friendly and they should not attack you? Are you supposed to give them eye contact or no? Smile? I heard most animals if you show teeth they take it as a sign of your testing their courage?

Help me out Dog lovers and experts. So we all can learn what to do. Cuz im not about to have one of my butt cheeks be laying on the ground after one of these demon dogs chows it off next time.

it reminds me of the days back in the Nam. I was attacked by the VC while out on patrol. Two VC dressed in black came at me and coincidentally one started sniffin me too. I was flabbergasted to say the least. but then my anger took over. I killed both with my bear hands. I buried them with their asses in the air. After all I needed something to hold my records. back then in the Nam we had records and we had trouble storing them. VC asses held them records quite nicely.

im so happy you took my post seriously and added your very personal related story. but maybe taking advice from Freddy Prinze Hitler Jr isnt such a good thing. i thought u were going to give some credible advice seeing your name is mad dog and all.

well you could try a be it's boss and kick it in the nuts or avoid eye contact and don't smile which could be misread as signs of aggression.

This is going to sound crazy but most dogs unless professionally trained attack dogs (normally alsations) will turn and run if you face them and become agressive toward them.
Dogs,like humans, do tend to draw courage from the support of "gang members" but even so many dogs will happily chase someone who runs away but will run from someone who chases them.

If one ever attacks you then just fucking kick, punch, elbow....fuckin bite if you have to. If its a boy then smash it in the nuts. Just like fighting a human but this one wont hesitate to kill you ;)

Work on your sprinting... :P When I was likes 9 my mates dog starting savaging so I shouted at it in a Mr T voice 'EY SUCKA LEAVE MY MAN ALONE' it gave me a physco look and came right for me.... knew it wasn't gonna turn around but luckily I had a head start on the fucking thing (dogs also can't turn around very fast..... I was running in circles once I was too tired to sprint :D)

PUNCH EM ON THE NOSE

Dogs can be viscious and i think the whole fear of them is born out of the fact they have sharp teeth and make lots of noise. They are much like you average saturday night drunk who likes to start thinking he is hard in front of his mates, gobbing off etc but when you turn the tables on him and turn up the agression, salivating as you tell him "F*** OFF YOU KUNT!!!! OR I'LL BITE YOUR FACE OFF" then you will quickly see that he suddenly has an urge to return some library books that are overdue. This doesn't always work of course ;D. Like i said in my previous note dogs draw support in packs.
Also lets not forget, the only thing you have to have covered from a dog is its jaw. Nothing else. The limbs of a dog cannot punch, kick, accurately try and gouge your eyes out. If a dog is coming for you become agrresive towards it. If this doesn't work and it still keeps coming move from 6-9 oclock as it gets near, make sure you have its jaw covered and rip the fukcing jaw off. We are much stronger creatures don't forget that. We have more attack tools at our disposal that a dog. Although that seems to slip our minds when faced with a salivating 10 stone rotty ;)

I had this shat happen to me too bro!! It was only 1 but was some pitbull terrier,ugly thing. Anyway,run around in circles,that should work,or climb up a wall. I don't think standing still is smart,I know that bitch would have savaged me if I stood there. Don't run in stright lines either,they are faster obviously.

Hey mine was serious too. Fighting back against a vicious animal can be enough to save your life. Why do you think they reccomend punching and doing what ever to a shark if one attacks you. Except dont go for the eyes on a shark like people say coz they roll them back when biting.

Was speaking to a marine biologist once and the whole punch on the nose thing is rubbish. You can't get enough torque underwater to get the power to inflict any pain in a sharks nose. She reckoned the best bet was to gouge the eyes. They roll back but its only a thin protective layer that can be penetrated by a human thumb/finger. She added at the end that if a shark gets close enough to you for you to do either of these things then you f*cked anyway. All you can do is hope the shark doesn't like the taste.

I have heard that you are not to show fear. Animals can sense when you are afraid and that can make them be more aggresive. Just be confident and keep running by, dont give them the opportunity to run up to you.

I have a healthy fear of dogs myself and I usually try to stay confident and not show my fear.

Tybuffs right, animals can sense fear, so try and stay confident and put the fear back in the dog. On the other hand, some dogs are just plain crazy and will attack you whatever you do, so if the fear thing don't work be ready to start kicking it, keeping your face out of reach, and for fucks' sakes cover your balls.
